I have the one for 4 people. This is one of the best tents I´ve owned. I´ve used it in snow, high mountain, deserts, forests, heavy rain, strong wind and a bit of snow. For me its the perfect balance. I agree on the stakes, I have already broke one, better to use some that are stronger. Overall a great and polyvalent!! Tbh the best tent you can buy if you are on a budget or want a perfect balance between light and strong.
Not any bear resistance I could speak to. Research how to be bear ready with hiking. Carry bear spray and attach bear bells to your pack. Keep food away in insulated containers at night, some locations have bear caches. It’s very unlikely a bear would bother you in your tent, but like I said, keep the food 100 feet away or so, or in a bear bag lifted in a tree.
@@MaceAroundTheWorld Well, you still know more than I do about dealing with bears. To be fair, there are no bears where I live, but I would still feel vulnerable lying on my back, on the floor and in a tent, when something or someone could trip over me and crush me. Camping is just not for me.
