I literally just heard about this, and I like it. I’m only vaguely familiar with Fear, thanks to my old Boss who’s a 1980’s punk/thrash/metal aficionado from Chicago.
Why this song matters. Because the group was forced off the soundtrack, Belushi in exchange got them their legendary gig that would have never taken place if they weren't forced off the project. Belushi marks another true punk moment using the b-side version of holiday in Cambodia rather than the album version. A true punk collaboration
I know right? I think had he lived, he would have done that. From what I've read, he was hard core in punk music. I always wondered if he would have loved thrash music.
