Ukraine can get money, planes, political and every other support from the West but when those pilots get taken down by Russians , Ukraine will experience the shortage of pilots. Of course, even if you bring Polish, Danish, German , Romanian or Bulgarian pilots, the war' s outcome will not be changed, only postponed.Russia will win because it has greater natural resources, and it is a matter of time.
Its hard too hide anything anymore with today's advanced Satellite imagery and drone imagery. Everything can eventually be located unless they keep moving it. The jets can't be moved to locations without viable runways if they want to deploy them quickly.
- "We need Western advanced tanks as they are game changers." -> Tanks got destroyed, and Ukraine said it didn't change much on the battlefield. - "We need like 300 F-16 jets." -> Army chief saying even before the jets arrive that there were limitations to what the jets could achieve on the battlefield. Never in modern warfare has anyone attempted to insert and base a small (initial delivery is said to be 8 F-16s) number of aircraft into a combat zone that was ENTIRELY accessible to precision missile strikes. The Russian can hit Poland with their missiles if they wish, so they can hit anywhere in Ukraine with the same missiles. If the F-16s are based in Ukraine the satellites and drones simply go into overtime to locate them. The host base will then be hit by multiple ballistic missiles, destroying the base and the fighters. You cannot piece-meal an air force together under the watch of an enemy that has complete access to the entirety of your country via hypersonic, cruise, and ballistic missiles. The West is selling Ukraine another pack of false hope lies.
So much talk and yet two years later the Ukrainian Air Force still flies and the ruzzians have no Air Supremacy and keep losing planes. It's not so simple.

The difference between the wars entered into by US and Russia is the PURPOSE. US made war with some countries to stop them from being aggressive, brutal, adventurous, despotic, repressive, autocratic, terroristic, crime lord, etc. Whereas, Russia initiated wars to gain land, excert control and undue influence among the countries she invaded.
the problem with F16's is the operational range. they don't hold much fuel and require in air refueling or 2 large external tanks and also a centerline tank. the external wing tanks are usually dumped in wartime and centerline is retained . but I would say this isn't likely to happen as Ukraine wont have a lot of external tanks . so they will be trying to stay as close as they can to the front line. but 40km is very very close... too close in my opinion. 100km from front would be ideal
it doesn’t matter where it’s based, if these toys are used to attack and harm the bear 🐻 soldiers/civilians/people/properties then they themselves and the physical site/sites that base them REGARDLESS of location are ALL LEGIT targets under the laws. The problem with ukrain army is that they usually announce their plans why just bring f16s as a surprise, the russians know that these planes are coming and i bet you theyve been preparing for it just as they did the counter offensive

Throughout the whole war they only managed to bomb just one Ukrainian airfield and only managed to destroy 5 parked Soviet planes, 3 of which were being used for spare parts... And the only reason why is because Ukraine only has 2 Patriot missile systems which they had to relocate because the Russians kept deliberetly bombing Kyiev to force Ukraine to reposition their AA to protect the civilian populace. And now they want us to believe: A) The missile that struck the children's hospital was Ukrainian or B) They missed a military target despite there not being a single military target for miles around

Ukraine is risking everything with stationing F-16 foghter jets at a singlw airfield and it needs to host those jets in multiple bases of which it's far away from the Frontline or NATO countries could allow Ukraine to use bases in Poland, Moldova, or in Lithuania where Russia cant strike back due to Article V
Nope that wont do. The F16s needs to be house in Ukraine if they are going to use it. If the F16s are house in NATO territory while Ukraine is using is in the war that is already a direct involvement of NATO in the war.. It means NATO strikes First and it will cause a irreversible consequence. Poland, Moldova, or in Lithuania might not get any backing from NATO allies if that happens specially the US.
