We often talk about 'Fear of Failure' and 'Lack of Confidence'. But have we noted the 'Fear of Success'?
The film 'Fear of Success' is all about a lady's fear to take up a professional position with high responsibilities, where she finds herself trapped between the two parts of herself - the careerist ambitious lady, and the conservative skeptic lady concerned about her social image and family commitments. This film is all about the dilemma inside her mind and the way each instinct take control over the other, thereby leading her towards further confusion and indecisiveness. Apart from the short narrative, the film also ventures into a sphere of oppressive optimism (an optimistic thought that arise from the feeling of being oppressed for ages) whereby she imagines a free world where a lady can think, act and live independent of their fears.
