Even a king was instructed to write a copy of the first five books of the bible and to read therein every day so that he would LEARN to fear YHWH to keep all of the words to do them. WOW It's awesome that there is an instruction here on what one can do to learn to fear YHWH. Simply awesome
The fear of the Lord. What does that mean? In the Bible there is 24 x the "fear of the Lord" What do I have to imagine? Is that pure fear, or is it something else? God transcends man completely. We are unable to measure its greatness. Of this man is so impressed that a meeting with Him trembles in awe. Awe for the Lord: this is how the NBV translates. the fear of the Lord. It is deep awe, great respect for the numinous, the sacred, which is the divine mystery that fascinates and does tremble in awe. The Bible says: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; His praise lasts forever. Psalm 111,10 With that fear of the Lord, spiritual wisdom begins there. Therefore hearken unto Psalm 34:12: Come, ye children, hearken unto me, and I will teach thee the fear of the LORD. Why is that the beginning of wisdom? Because it does away from evil. The fear of the Lord determines how you stand in life. Proverbs (8,13); The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and pride and angry walking and a mouth full of twists I hate. Proverbs 16,6 By iniquity and faithfulness the iniquity is purged: because of the fear of the LORD they turn away from evil. Jesus Christ was on earth knowing the Beloved Son. Isaiah prophesied of him: Isaiah 11: 2 And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD; yes his lust will be in the fear of the LORD. Those tough shepherds who were not afraid of anything who feared with great fear as they approached the divine. Psalms 2:11 O LORD, fear and rejoice with trembling. Awe and love feed the joy and make the church grow. Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria had peace; She was built up and walked in the fear of the Lord, and she increased in number through the assistance of the Holy Spirit.
