Thanks for this amazing deck budget videos, soemtimes the budget decks of 50-100$ arent cheap enough for some of us to consider buying, your videos are real savers!, and they are very creative in the way you include cards.
What I love about these videos is that I usually end up having some of these cards that I normally wouldn't use, but will now have a new home in these builds
I'm in love with my Niko deck. I would highly recommend running Skybind. It's under a dollar and once it's on the battlefield not only do you get to blink Niko each turn, you can also exile an opponent's best non-enchantment permanent every turn as well. It's a great negotiation piece.
thanks for this. when this card got spoiled ive had an idea for this deck. i plan to include my ancient gold dragon to it for extra faerie dragon tokens
North Liberty Iowa? Iowa isn't real, but I'll check out that deal. As a side note, did you have to replace Spencer after he dropped you into a hole in the ground?
Hello, I am slowly building Niko. I’m having trouble understanding the +9/+9. I should mention that English is my second language, but beyond that, I think my difficulty comes from the melee rule triggering more than once. Is it because of the lieutenant that grants melee more than once?
Essentially if you have 1 Skyhunter Strike Force and you go to combat with your commander, each creature will get 'melee' once. If you have 2 of them each creature will have 'melee' twice. Think of it this way: Imagine if you have a regular enchantment called 'Melee' that has an ability that says "When a creature you control attacks, it gets +1/+1 until end of turn for each opponent you attacked turn." If you have this made up enchantment out then if you attack all 3 of your opponents each attacking creature would get +3/+3. Having multiple instances of 'melee' is like having more copies of that enchantment in play. So if each creature has 3 instances of melee like in that example i have in the video, it would be like having 3 of those enchantments on the field and attacking your opponents. So instead of one +3/+3 bonus its 3*(+3/+3) which is +9/+9. A shorter way to say it, it's like having multiple copies of Glorious Anthem out but it cares about how many opponents are being attacked. In both this and the previous example it'll only apply to the creatures with the 'melee' ability but the more creatures you get out the bigger and bigger they become.
Loving the video but I want to point out that Niko uses they/them pronouns and not he/him pronouns 4:05. They are one of the few non-binary characters in mtg which is good for the diversity of the format. #cancelPowerBudgetTCG
