This is an example of prima facie and syllogism. Faith is made of many components - to name just three: knowledge, trust and hope. Let take it out of the religious context. When you tell your daughter: I have faith in you - is it made up? Do you believe your wife does not sleep with your next-door-neighbour? I guess, you don't. But do you have a proof? Not having a proof of that does not make it neither true nor false. There is a suppressed premise in that statement, e.g. no definition of faith - is it faith, beliefs, or teachings of the Watchtower? It is a broad topic. Simplification often leads to argumentum ad baculum.
