I’ve just done the first 500 miles in Altra Lone Peak 6 and yesterday changed to a new pair of Hoka Soeedgoat 5 for the next 500 miles so that I can do a “vs” comparison video in July once I’ve done the mileage in the Hokas. They are VERY different shoes though. Each will be better for different things. 😊
That’s a good point. My feet don’t really swell much but some people have this a lot. Depending on the shoe I either use same size (Meindl / Lowa) or half a size bigger (Altra, Merrrel). I think it depends on brand, people’s feet, sock choice and more. Going too big Dan also cause blisters though if the foot is able to slide around a little inside. 😊
