Jeff Bly reputed leader of the feared Theodore street was being targeted by Assistant District Attorney Paul R McLaughlin in 1995. After being found not guilty on his first two cases Bly is afraid the ADA is going to put him away for life when they meet for a third time in court. He makes a very impulsive decision that goes down in Boston history. #boston #crime #rap #gangsters

One of the biggest things that happened over the decades is how bad the educational system had fallen in Boston. Doesn't matter the skin color, but if you met someone who went to school their pre 70's, you were talking to someone much more articulate.

I absolutely agree. A lot of this stuff starts at home and in the community, but our school systems are a joke now. Not sure what they teach these kids anymore
@TupDigital

100%. That's true across the country, and by design to boot...they are purposefully inverting the entire way Americans are raised, taught, indoctrinated. Values, wisdom, love of knowledge and the communal good this brings from a citizen are being systematically destroyed. Not that society was ever some sort of utopia of course - but humanity is on the downward trend, following our leaders and their disgusting system. This has gone into overdrive since the millennium. The true mass media age allows for instantaneous mass dumbing-down.

It's dropping all over the country. I went to a public school that was actually considered a public prep school. I graduated in 1980, the next year they finally had to allow "bussing". Now the school has gangs, it's lost it's status, and the people who used to send their children there (even though they could afford private school) are now sending their children to private schools. That's DEI for you.

It's crazy to think that his hoodie and bandana actually had the assistant Da's DNA on them. For that to be the case he would have had to be within 6 or 7 ft to get some form of blood splatter. I'm just saying that the DNA could have been a bit of a put up job to put the icing on an already strong case. Probably not because they probably didn't need it but it also shows how stupid Blye was to leave clothing from a murder in a place where anyone could find it. I understand wanting to change your clothes but there are better ways to do that where you don't leave your murder clothes out in the open for the cops to find immediately. Actually every part of it was stupid. Seriously. The idea was stupid to begin with and then involving so many people in it was stupid. Then talking about it with a bunch of people was stupid. It was also stupid for the victim to not take the guy writing down his license plate very seriously. I don't mean to speak ill of the dead but he should have been more wary.

Anybody who's any kind of football fan has heard that phrase over and over throughout the years. I was guessing it would be John Madden but it turns out that it was Mike Ditka when he was the assistant coach of the Dallas Cowboys. First of all I had no idea that he was ever the assistant coach of the Dallas Cowboys but it turns out that he was for 8 years. 1973- 1981. Also I somehow never connected it in my head but the band Smash Mouth got their name from that football phrase. Yeah they do I’m not debating that. All I’m saying is there were specific factors that led to the dramatic rise in crime and no one did anything about that. Leaders were just treating a symptom of our society’s other core problems with violent crime being the most severe symptom. Now they’re just gentrifying out bad areas that’s my point there was a reason for the spike in violent crime. Leaders never did anything about the root causes and they still neglect certain communities. That’s the point I was trying to make

I have a couple possible answers to the two car scenario. I think my second guess is probably the better one. This is just an idea but I'm thinking that maybe the lead car that was used to go to the train station didn't drive all that well or wasn't all that reliable so they had a second car behind. Blye then decided that he didn't need the extra witnesses there when he did the deed so he sent them back. It's not a perfect explanation but people do weird things. A second guess is that he was tying other people into the crime so that nobody could talk. Even driving behind the lead car, knowing that a hit is going to happen, would make you an accessory to the crime and so would definitely shut you up. I'm guessing that he had previously told the guys that were in the follow car about what he was going to do or wanted to do. If you bring those guys along on the journey then you've made them part of the crime. I think I like the second answer better but it could have been anything.
