@@steefvanburen7985 one of the teams that got me into football. I remember every kid in austria talked about and loved it. Ajax was everything back then. I still root for them now.
@@peterroth4514 even in 96 Ajax made the final. A run of 2 years heavily influenced by youth players. For me thats on par with this leicester side in a billion dollar league
I’m a Sunderland fan, remember losing that opening day and feeling abit like ‘’4-2....to Leicester, christ’’ with no idea what was to come, what a club, what a story, this was a great watch 🙌🏻
Okazaki was a forerunner for all the quality Japanese players who've come to Europe. In most cases, they are absolute workhorses for their clubs. They may not always shine, but they always do their jobs.
@@gaiusjuliuspleaser Bit of a stretch there, allthough I get the jist. They are workhorses and almost always very loved. Guess that has to do with their culture. Shinji Ona was a legend at feyenoord almost 2 decades ago. Keisuke Honda for VVV in the eredivisie. You also had Nakamura, Kawaga, Uchida etc.
N'Golo Kante went from playing in France third division in 2012, second division in 2013, first division in 2014, to winning the Premier League in 2016 and 2017, winning the PFA & Premier League & FWA Player of the Year in 2017, nominated for Ballon d'Or in 2017, winning the FA Cup in 2018, the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and the UEFA Europa League in 2019. He's on his way to win the Champions League with Chelsea being in the semi-final this year, and the EURO 2020 to begin in June 2021. What a career!
@@sohagdas8351 very true,I was doing that haha as I am an arsenal fan. Got to give it to Leicester though they definitely deserved it the most and it was the greatest sporting achievement we probably will ever see...
2016 was the year I was going through my cancer treatment. Seeing this amazing leicester team gave me so much hope and helped me through it, i looked forward to watching these guys at the end of every week after a battering week of treatment. Thank you so much fantastic foxes for helping me through the worst time ❤️
As a Leicester fan I was so happy and excited when we won , Vardy deserves a statue when he retires and this is one of the greatest sporting story's of all time
Same i support Barça, but that Leicester City season was unforgettable, I support Leicester a little bit and now they are struggling right now I wish they can finish in the top 10. VISCA EL BARÇA VISCA CATALUNYA VAMOS BARÇA, C'mon Foxes 🦊🔵
This is a feat that will never be repeated - A truly amazing achievement. 5000-1 outsiders - Wow. A Lifelong Liverpool fan cannot help but admire this.
@@sheikhyaboooty Admittedly the cabinet at Anfield is pretty full. City are in a good moment again, a good team, a manager that fits the club, great owners and passionate support. Champions League around the corner once this pandemic calms down. Good times ahead for City, I like them as a club.
Yeetwch y Baban You can’t deny tiki taka doesn’t look good and it’s not that they take 5 passes when it can be done with one. It’s that they take 5 passes so it can be done better than 1 pass.
@@PeptoBismarck244 well for most clubs that's the case. However, can you really argue prime barcelona tiki-taka wasn't effective? They didn't do one pass and risk possession they played the safe pass everytime with sublime movement and moved the ball quickly, almost as quick as the one pass could have gotten there.
He especially knew well Kasper would start the counter with his own hands Sometimes it was as simple as he gets save throw it far away to vardy that gives 1 2 with Mahrez And vardy goal Just like that within 10 seconds Moreover they never give up goals could come in any moment Last second on a corner kick random cross in the box fighting like a rugby match to win the ball back and score Mahrez free kicks Goals could come in any moment Especially under pressure with all the strikers in the towering Ulloa
That statement is kind of rubbish cause every team has their own way of playing you can't disrespect it and call it "lost" I mean the best teams in the world have used tiki taka and won many things
I'm not a Leicester fan, but I bloody loved that season. I suffer with depression and watch this video periodically to help cheer me up. It never fails and Claudio Rannieris "Keep Dreaming, Never Wake Up' always gets me sobbing. Great video and thanks Leicester, it's nice to know we can all dream; no matter who we are.

With that said, this was one of the most inspiring stories I have the pleasure of being alive during the time it happened. Thank you Leicester City.
I am Brazilian, and we are five times world champions, but I had never seen anithing so incredible and inimaginable in football!!!! I fell in love with this team! Forever, Leicester!
Was an amazing season for Leicester and let's face it they did have a great team. Always admired Vardy and wished he would have come to Chelsea, but he's loyal to the club, you can't say that about many players these days.
By being Spurs. A bit like Man City back in the day. 1936/37 win title, 1937/38 relegated despite scoring nearly 100 goals. Its hard to be a football fan sometimes.
@Stuart Russell, and we had very few midlands Derbies to play, I'd not thought of that before. I certainly thought of it in the early 90s in the 2nd tier when every other team was only 40 miles away!
@@awoweataro9932 no😂 not more than the players. Any football fan could see that super Nigel Pearson built the start of this incredible story. Also Shakespeare did aloe almost maybe more than ranieri one the training ground. I love the man I really do but he doesn’t deserve a statue MORE than the players. 💙🦊
That team helped me get through cancer, and chemo. I did chemo during that whole season. They gave me such hope during my battle with stage 3b colon cancer... Thank you forever...

As a Liverpool support I’ve just fallen upon this video. This is what football is about. The thoughts of the Super League and how it will destroy the PL and the CL as we know it is so heartbreaking.
As an arsenal fan and we haven't won in 10 years when Leicester won the league I'm happy we didn't win it that year. Heartbreaking to come second but heartwarming to see such a fairytale
@@Dantels7 I'm not a fake fan. I've been to 4 Arsenal games and I don't live in England. I've been an arsenal fan my whole life. It was just great to see such a story like Leicesters one
True, this goes beyond clubs. It is a song for football and sports, and something to be admired and cherished from every person who loves the game and witnessed this. We can just be thankful it happened!
A huge amount of love and respect to those Everton supporters who travelled to the King Power to give their tickets away to those lucky Leicester supporters so they could be there to witness us lifting the trophy. Their fanbase will forever be in my heart with such a kind hearted thing they did. This title win wasn't just for Leicester and our supporters... but also for supporters of every clubs fans out there in the world who now know that the fairytale may just be next for them. 🦊💙
The winter of 2021 Atlas foxes 🦊 from Mexico just won their second title after 70 years .., like Leicester football gave us the chance to be Champions… Leicester the best story of football ⚽️
As algerian, I saw all matchs of Riyad Mahrez in Premier league, and it coincided with what I call Leicester miracle, I am now very happy to say that I saw every Leicester match in the premier league compaign of 2015/2016, and that was amazing, incredible and extraordinary. That's why I love football.
@@lRydeRdiel as a barça fan, I could agree but you have to admit an underdog from championship a few seasons back denying the title to the “Big Six” is unbelievably incredible. Sad they didn’t go that far in the following champions league.

As a Man Utd fan, I absolutely respect the determination they showed to clinch the PL title out of the palms of the "Big 6". True fairytale season of football.
I get it though. It was about Leicester, not about London. Why would they show other teams playing in their own documentary when you could easily look up the highlights to that match elsewhere?
Although Vardy, Mahrez, Kante and Okazaki were phenomenal, I think Schmeichel deserves equal credit. His contribution in the late half of that season were simply amazing.
Aryan Modha Leicester only won the title that year because all the big clubs were awful this was the worst period for English football in the premier league era now with Liverpool man city being some of the best teams in the world not happening
@@arthurpinchuk890 he's right in fairness, of course leicester were best that season but they were just the best of a bad bunch. everybody in transition and leicester took advantage of it - good on them, a story unrivalled by any in football!

ESL take note. This is the epitome of what English football culture is all about. If you don't understand THIS, you have no place in the sport. All those foreign owned stakeholders involved in the travesty of European Super League (ESL) need to watch this as part of their penance.
This typifies what it means to some clubs to win the Premier League. For others they expect it each season and it just becomes another thing on the list. All clubs want to finish top and Leicester proved that for those that don't have the big money of the top 6 clubs, it is still possible. Arguably it was the team that Pearson built and Ranieri managed, but what an amazing combination! I'm proud to be from Leicester and very proud to say that Leicester City Football Club has perhaps one of, if not the best, owners in the Premier League and probably also the world. Thank you!
I watched this whole documentary as a West Ham fan born and bread but I’m so happy for Leicester and all the fans, this was truly a spectacular accomplishment which the likes we probably will never see again but well done Leicester, you made the impossible, possible.
and 5 years after this fairy tale, after the title against all odds, Leicester win their first FA Cup. Unbelievable, but I think for this time it's not a fairy tale anymore. It's a statement that Leicester are gradually penetrating into the traditional Top 6. Probably soon there will be no Top 6, Top 7 I would say. This club is run by owners, who truly care about their club, want the club to be successful and ambitious themselves as well. As a Manchester United fan, I wish the football club that I love could be run by ambitious owners, not the ones who are satisfied just by finishing in the Top 4, qualifying for Champions League, in order to earn more money, but not spend them or spend unwisely. Congratulations again to Leicester City, after all the adversity, you deserve success. 5 years ago you were a shock, but this time you proved that this club is more than just creating a shock (16/05/2021)
I'm a Man City fan and my team came 4th that season. It wasn't great, but I was very happy for Leicester and I was cheering for them to win it. I hope they now go on to win in the FA Cup final this season too!
Even as a Liverpool fan, I can’t help but admit how incredible Leicester were that season. So much heart in that team, and they fully deserved the title🙌🏻
Even as an Arsenal fan, I'll never forget where I was when Leicester lifted the trophy. Couldn't help but back them to take it once we were out of the picture.

Even as a liverpool fan, competing against Leicester in the prem, I will always support them for being a real team and achieving things the right way with hard work and being smart
Even when my fav team juventus back from relegation then start winning after some years of average season its not as beautiful as leicester city story.
I am a Liverpool supporter but I admire a lot this Leicester season... It was the beggining of becoming a big team in England these years and nowadays they are top of table again.
OKC had a historical playoff run They were the best team during that playoff But it's just too hard to overcome homecourt disadvantage twice against spurs and gsw right after that
The Leicester City football club has been relegated from the Premier League this season. It won't be long before the foxes return. It will happen sooner or later. This teen from BD will wait with all his heart for foxes to return...
