Saw her open for Awolnation in dallas last year November. I was literally feet from the stage. I had no idea who she was and expected just another lame opening act for the main band I came to see. Lord knows I've seen plenty. But I was awesomely surprised. She blew me away. Yes, she is a hot female and all, lets put that aside.... I was blown away by her voice. Her writing style. Her music. The lyrics. I was really impressed. And I am hard to impress. That's a crazy talented artist. There's no pop bullshit there. She knows her shit. She writes very well. I can tell you she wasn't singing to some poppy bullshit prerecorded track of herself. I hope she wont fade away like so many really good talented artist do when they are young. The music industry is a bitch. I know from hard work in the business. Today all the major record labels just want a hot piece of ass that can fake a performance with autotune and prerecorded lipsinking. I cant stand the vomit that my 19 year old daughter is into or the fake ass crap that's flooding radio stations.... Uggg hummm(Especially IHeart radio, but that's a subject for another day) So when I'm out at the concerts and I recognize true raw talent I really hope they can make it through all the bullshit and hang in there.
