Authentic shave Jim, thanks for sharing. The Feather shavettes are top notch gear, same for the blades (brutally sharp). Cheekbones bleed like there’s no tomorrow (nose too - somehow I know 🩸), even little nicks so they look a lot worse than they are. Your lather is beautifully hydrated, lovely to see. If it does not bleed when your done, then nothing happened. Colloidal Silver hydration gel will speed up healing significantly. regards Mr Straight Razor
Thanks Dapper. My blood is too close to my skin. That's the problem 😂🤣 Yes, the Feathers are surgical instruments. If you look at it wrong it'll have you
Great shave Jim, Some nice gifts you had there and worth the £31 customs charge, 1955 good soap and splash, i have looked at the 1966 will have to get it i think, showing the cuts and nicks and weepers is called being real, why the intense sting off the 1955 splash is because there is liquid alum in the mix take care and have great week ahead 😀👍
Great shave Jim 👍 your technique is very good with an open razor, don’t be too hard on yourself, these things happen. Still happens to me. I used Feather Pro Guards for the first year and half before moving up to Professional blades. The letters SR stand for Super Razor, according to JMac the red island shaver 🇨🇦 Have a good Week
@@JimWillShave really like the pro guards, a great option. A smooth keen edge. I can see why people like these ones. Another gem in the artist club range is the Shick P30 proline. An excellent choice, sharp, smooth with edge retention beyond reproach 👌
Nice shave Jim. Love my SR, a definite step up from the SS…. Mine might like me a bit more though, she doesn’t make me bleed🤣🤣 All joking aside, have a top week!
@@JimWillShave Cheers Jim! The SS stands for Stainless steel, the SR stand for Super razor, which is a cross between the SS and DX… and the DX is their Deluxe razor, the most high end offering they have.
I think you've watched too many of my videos and took away the wrong impression, you are NOT supposed to cut yourself lol. Good shave overall though, have a great week.
