I hadn't listened to much of her stuff either until I watched Singer 2018. She has a very powerful voice and incredible stage presence. All of her songs were amazing...and "Purple Rain" was just the icing on the cake for me. I grew up in Minnesota where Prince was dearly loved. His Purple Rain Tour was one of the first live concerts I ever attended in Minneapolis...(I guess that ages me, but it was definitely a highlight of my younger life)! I think Jessie J did Prince proud with her version.

Being a Metalhead, I would never have even considered listening to this artist before, but since I discovered Dimash through this channel and really like him a lot, I gave Jessie chance. She's actually quite good. I MIGHT have to check out more of her music. All in all, I think this "featured artist" segment was a success. Cheers!

😂 I'm also into rock/metal, discovered Dimash and he's in a different dimension, but in the what we really like is good music, right? And there are some awesome things being done out there there are not in our genre, but that's cool. Heads up to wolf rock that is one the reactors that manage to bring all this differences together 🙏

Mike Judas Priest Jessie has gorgeous tone and is a wonderful live singer. I have seen her live twice and would not hesitate to go too another concert.

Thank you Olly for sharing. Well, she beat Hua Hua, Tengri and KZ Tandigan. I liked all three better, lol. This was Singer 2018 and Dimash had a guest appearance with a cover of Hello by Lionel Richie. Cheers from Holland

I never really paid much attention to her, but she can surely sing. Three big songs and she delivered in all three. She really got into the song with Purple Rain.

Merci pour ces réactions. JESSIE J mérite d’être mieux connue du grand public. Elle a gagné « The singer « 2018 et c’est une superbe chanteuse. Et quelle présence sur scène...C’est à ce moment là que Dimash - invité au titre d’ancien participant 2017 - a chanté son fameux « Hello ».

Dimash Competed 2017. He then appeared as a guest in 2018 ...Hello. And again then 2019 and appeared as a guest with the Super Vocal Boys doing a Queen Medley “ Forever Queen”. They brought the house down. I like Jessie J... I agree she is very good. I still think Hua Chenyu should have been the winner instead of number Two. My opinion. Dimash always number one ! Lol

she has a heart condition, had to miss a week.medical treatment back in london, given zero points. got back just in time from 20 hr flight, no rehearsal, and performed great.

I will write more tomorrow probably. One thing I noticed was that she had some problems with her in-ear monitor in the third song. With it in her ear it did not come out particularly well out of her mouth. Very warm and full voice for a soprano and she seems to be uncertain at times (with belting, for instance) or, at least, that is my impression from my limited exposure to her singing.
