Feature Tech AW07A And You Kits FG-01 Antenna Analysers

The Feature Tech AW07A and You Kits FG-01 antenna anlysers side by side. I've heard the Feature Tech AW07A is the same unit as the MFJ266... but I don't know as fact this is true. The Feature Tech does 160m to 70cm and has a frequency counter, inductance and capacitance meter. The You Kits FG-01 does 160m (1MHz) to 6m (60MHz) and does not have any other features.
Thanks to the Hills Amatuer Radio Group (HARG) for the loan of the Feature Tech AW07A.

I had my AW07A for about 5+ years, its faded on the front, well used, the only problem i had was the Up Bottom became dirty, and pushing it harder just got the button stuck, A spray of Contact Electrical Cleaner and all is good again

did you have a calibrate your AW07A meter? mine tends to drift like yours

This was the radio club's meter. It's the only time I used it and wasn't impressed enough with it to borrow it again.

I looked at a couple of videos to see what it was like. It doesn't look too bad, but I really don't like the small (SMA?) connector. I reckon that wouldn't last too long.

Hi VK6CS, I'm thinking about to buy the AW07 as cheap solution or 2nd choise after MFJ269C pro.Are you suggest the AW07? .. de SV3IRG ... 73 ..

To be honest I wasn't impressed with the AW07, I wouldn't buy one. I don't have any personal experience with the MFJ269C but I hear people like them.

The Australian Broadcasting Commission is an arm of the BBC. Always so balanced and neutral...... I am sick to death of cheap anaylizers which can't keep up and read accurately. Also, I have new video.

The You Kits is a cheap analyser that works well.
