Maruti Suzuki should bring back cars like sx4 and kizashi as this would be the right time to launch them with all the bells and whistles. Those cars were launched ahead of thier time
For those who talk about features, most of the features are not necessary for driving. What's most important is reliable engine, low maintenance, good driving dynamics and comfort. I think it ticks all those boxes and yes its definitely good looking
@@praveenhegde8107 agreed 100%. Companies like Hyundai and Kia have spoilt the Indian car market. Nowadays people buy cars for features, not for driveability and comfort.
@@subhadipdutta9272 Senseless reviewers have done this and a car should be mechanically reliable, good driving dynamics with comfortable suspension and tailored to the local population. If people want features then buying a Tv , phone or wet grinder could be a better choice.
BMW (i4) also has flap type door handles so it's not a negative but a perception. It looks much more proportionate and better integrated at the back than a curve. Reliability would be much better than a TATA but safety has to be proven by Citroen
Design is very good but still features are not good 1. No request sensor 2. No smart key and push start button 3. No sunroof 4. Old instrument cluster 5. Old door handles
This one's great. It has all the required features just cruise control needed to be added and the price must be set right. This will kill creta segment with its right pricing structure. More Space and no extra electronics means a long lasting reliability. I would choose the turbo petrol engine option thanks to the 6 speed manual option. The car is on point with the necessary features in the list. You wont miss anything apart from cruise control. The headlights are better with fog lights in comparison to the so called middle positioned headlights without fog lamps. That improves the light throw range. Just the pricing must be right and the after sales service must be top notch like ford for me to consider.
Even though i hate those zen's door handles on the basalt I have to say it looks so much proportionate than the curvv, curvv looks like nexon got banged by indigo and boom you get curvv.
The design looks amazing. Torque converter option would be great for convenience and long term reliability. Long highway drives would be exceptional with Citroen's class leading suspension. Ravi bhai, please do talk about highway manners of the car, overall comfort, dynamics, handling and braking. Also please review the audio system and sound quality on offer.
But log to faltu features hi chahte hai na? Unko sunroof chahiye, wireless charging chahiye, air purifier chahiye, aur pata nehi kya kya chahiye... Important things like ride and handling, suspension, seat comfort, NVH, yeh sab aajkal matter nehi karta... I really wish that Citroen does good in the Indian market.
@@mandargokhale9193 I fully agree with you, but again that is not a deal breaker in my opinion. How much effort does it take to flip the mirror to night mode manually? I have a car where I do it manually, and it takes me just 1 second to do it.
Cruise control should be given. It is a basic feature now a days, even Trucks and Buses are getting it, lack of this may cause potential customers like me to look at something else ~ I don't understand why Citroen India get it.
Honestly speaking - I like basic car handles just as in this car , ..feels good 😊 and key hole engine starting gives me good vibes from inside rather than start stop push button ... It's a basic best car -- ( also skoda is going to release its car under 10 lakh ..let's see which is better ... I hope Citroen gives cruise control .. it would help in giving best mileage 🙂 .. and assist drivers too ... Please Citroen ❤❤
service and customer support is better than Tata, Mahindra... Its just that they do not have sufficient number of service centers across length and breadth of India.

Perfect looks. Useful features are there. I’m sure it will drive like a beast as well. Best thing is that Citroen wasn’t very adamant and decided to provide the missing features.
Lookwise good and build quality also looking good and Torque converter bhi option hai so good.ADAS nahi hai and pricing pe performance will decide its future.
Seems like a good package plus I think the road presence is also there the only problem Citreon and Tata Cruv could face is the tax premium customers would have to pay because of the 4m taxation bracket. Let's see how these two would perform in the market
Its a very simple and eye catching design actually from exterior and interior with lesser electricals meaning it won't have much issues like how other cars have with more electricals(*ahem TATA*) but overall its a really amazing car hope that the engine performs well.
They have to undercut CURVV by pricing and of course certain features are missing but price it such, it becomes VFM PROPOSAL. Well done Citrogen India.
Looks a good product overall as it will be in lower price range as compared to Curve. Excited to see if it can be a competition to Curve. If I was looking for a new car I will definitely take a test drive of Basalt. Thanks Ravi as always.

Meri daily running 75-80 km h and yearly 2 trip ho jate hain, to almost 25000km/year running h or is according CNG option better h Mujhe meri requirements k according Hyundai exter sx(o) AMT pasand h kyunki mera daily updown delhi to gurugram h. Mini SUV type looks and all features are available in exter. But my question is kya AMT varient mein outside CNG lagwana sahi decision hoga and AMT transmission ki maintanance kitni extra hoti h manual ke comparison mein Pls help me to choose the correct car 🚗

This is lacking in front of tata curvv. The display, the ground clearance, looks, in all aspects. No cruise control, simple handles, no request sensor even in top model is sad, which clearly gives curvv an advantage

Most of companies designs better front as compared to rear of the car. But in case of this car, it is opposite. This one looks more beautiful from rear.

Jab pata laga to sales person answered ke GOVT ke norms me nahi hai isliye nahi diye. Passnger safty ka koi khayal nahi kiya Citroen valo ne. Other vise test drive me pure 90/100 hai ye car me ...
Door handles give poor impression. As far as look is concerned even c3 aircross was acceptable. With 180 ground clearance it will be difficult to challenge fronx and new version of amaze. Space is big plus but people may go for lower version creta or top version fronx

After getting the first look, it feels like a jacked up sedan 😂😂, but great work citroen, tata needs some competitors like you, otherwise they won’t improve.
Apart from after sale services, Citröen produces cars with the needed features, not some foxy husles. Jut the things which are needed. (Push button would be easier)
went to citroen showroom and a warm welcome unlike over crowded showrooms. and i thik thi is better car for this pricing, just have to look at spare parts cost . then in this price i am going fot this than curvv. citroen giving everything to survive.
