I know the MintyPi Lite is supposed to be more accessible to even more people but do you guys plan on keeping the version 3 around for people who want those features?
I'm more asking this out of sheer curiosity than anything else, but here goes: I know you're working on the mintypi lite as a means to make the project more accessible and more affordable, but have you considered making a version on the opposite end? Like a mintypi luxe with more features, and or higher performance compenents?
Hey @wermy, I just ordered the mintyPi Lite PCB, battery, and Altoids tin from Helder. Sudomod does not have the 3D printed parts for the Lite listed-when will those be available? Or does the Lite use the same 3D printed parts as the V3-in which case they are just out of stock? Where can I get the STL to print them myself? Thanks for your time!
Question,. I've been watching your videos and have become curious enough to want to try building a mintypi. So, not having much experience with electronics apart from checking furnace boards for power output and building a PC, what would I end up needing in order to make one? And a small follow up question, I'm not that big a fan on Altoids tins in general, any plans on having a shell made for it or have that as an option for weird people like me?
I'm kinda bummed. I just found your videos and went to start grabbing parts, but can't get the PCBs and a few other bits for either the GBZ or MintyPi v3. I checked sudomod.com and heldergametech.com and tried kiteretro.com Am I missing a location?
if you want it to be more accessable to people sell the kits on amazon or ebay with the tools to mark where to drill the hoes at ,like i tried to make one but it was hard to make it because drilling the tin is annoying
I'm planning to do a MintyPi but what I don't understand is, how do I install the games? (I really don't know anything about programming, Can somebody help me?)
