Welcome to a quick look at my latest books to arrive in my Adult Colouring book collection. Some of these were lovely Birthday gifts, but some are items, I've ordered a while ago. There are a few older books, that I've had my eye on, or to finish my collection in here, but all books that I really want to colour in.

Great haul. Omg I am soooo jealous you have Mouse Guard. I've been trying to get one for about 2 years, well done. I've just ordered 2 of the cat book xxx

The Cat book is very cute, it's a good buy. Mouse guard I just kept checking eBay every month, most months, they are silly money, but every so often one pops up at a better price. This was a pretty good price, but I was worried it wouldn't show up. Thankfully it did, and is lovely, yours is out there somewhere, x🫰💗

*Mouse Guard envy* sighs... The second hand copy I bought from a seller in France had orange felt pen on some of the pictures, which was a huge disappointment as I waited about 2 months for it to arrive. On a different note, Happy Birthday. Lovely haul. I am looking forward to seeing you bring them to life with colour.

Oh no Alisa, that's dreadful!😢 what is it with people and orange (Book ruining) felt tipped pen, you waited so long as well. 🥲 Is it not saveable? The orange pen in my Carnival book, kept running, so I know it's dam tricky to try to do anything with. I did just drop lucky on eBay really, but I was worried before it arrived, you just never know what you will get. Perhaps there is another one out there for you,🫰 Hopefully I can do this one justice, xx (Thanks for the Birthday wishes) 💗

Actually, the Amazon Japan printed books, although the outdoor feels rough and thin, it takes watercolour and wet media very well. Have a little test with watercolour on it, you might be surprised. I tend to order any Amazon printed books from Japan now because of it.

Yes my Morgan O'Brian one that's printed in Japan, has great paper, and I've painted on that a couple of times. I was really hoping these would be the same, but sadly they aren't, they are the same as the Uk, CocoWyo paper, which just can't take any water at all. As soon as I wet it, it's going lumpy, it's sadly not the same. I wonder if Cocowyo has its own paper stock, as it seems so similar. I like the designs, I will still work in them, I was just hoping to use some paper as well. Oh well, It was worth a try! 👍

@@wendyscolouring Huh, that's interesting. I got my Spooky Girl and Coco Wyo Witches and Galaxy Queen from there, asking with some other various authors. All take water and water media like champs. Really unlucky the books you got had the crappy paper, makes me a bit wary now to order from there, I thought they printed everything on the same paper.😭 I can confirm their RJ Hampson, Jade Summer, Vasyl Sajko, Uri Levi and Crook Crook books are good, I just went nuts recently and ordered a pile from there😅 Because I did not have enough books I haven't coloured in yet. 😂

Lovely haul, but most importantly, you got Mouse Guard! I've been after it for ages too, and seeing it more and more on RU-vid, but like you not wanting to pay silly money for it. Anyway, today is my birthday, plus in a few days my mister is going to be in the USA for a couple of weeks, so as a birthday present to myself I went onto ebay and ordered one of the copies available in the States to be delivered to his office over there. Still silly money, but at least I haven't got the shipping cost to the UK so really I'm actually saving money I think? 🤔🤭 Hope you had a nice birthday, many belated happy returns 🎂
