Congratulations!! I get paid once a month as well. A suggestion could be to pull money out for your cash envelopes once a month, then split that into 4 (or 5) separate weeks. For example, say it's a 4 week month, if you take out $500 a month for groceries, you can split that into 4 separate weekly grocery envelopes. Grocery Envelope Week 1 $125, Grocery Envelope Week 2 $125 and so on. I had 4-5 weekly envelopes per category (depending on the number of weeks in the month). Or you can just use paper clips to clip your alloted money for each week and still only keep one envelope per category.
I recently retired and went from two paychecks a month to one check a month... I will be looking forward to watching your videos on budgeting with one paycheck a month.
Love the new budget sheet with the envelope break out. Congrats on the next chapter as well!! So awesome to watch your journey and how you adapt, refine, and innovate. Truly inspiring
I work for the state and we get paid once a month. I cannot wait for your next video on getting paid once a month. This video was so good. Thank you so much for your information.
We get a paycheck every week, but use my checks for the bills and my husband's for savings. I got paid today and budgeted for the bills to pay next week. I love the cash envelope system. Love your videos. Good luck on your new adventure.
I've been watching many many videos over the last year or so all about budgets and tracking it. And I think finding your videos really allowed me to take control of my money coming in this month. I started tracking everything on paper. Before I was sometimes tracking them on Everydollar. But was getting lazy and not keeping track. For me its become alot easier to track the money when tracking everything on paper. This is the first month I have tracked everything on a calendar and highlighted and I liked looking at it and see what days I have been spending more and ways that I can changed with the upcoming months and start taking full control over my finances to become debt free.
Did I miss what happened to the $20 for car maintenance? I saw the $16 for back to school and that was the last cash in your hand, but there should have been $20 left....I wish I had the money for sinking funds but debt. Will get there, been on my budget journey for about 3 years now.
I get paid once a month and have found it to be great because I have all my bills (utilities, iTunes, ASPCA) charged on my credit card, so I already know what my bills are going to be by the time the 1st of the month comes around. This has enabled me to plan my finances so much easier for the month. Now, can we talk about those pretty cash envelopes of yours?! Love!!!
I can tell you right now, these videoa are so so helpful and I'm so glad I came across them. I'm excited to see youre once a month bill plan because that's where I'm heading and what I'm working toward. I can't wait for the new workbook pages for the shop!!
Recently found your channel and i am so inspired to get my budget under control! I have a new baby coming in May and just started freaking out about finances...will be looking forward to the new binder system!
Congratulations on your success to becoming self-employed 👏🏾👏🏾! Very happy for you! Can’t wait to see what’s to come and very excited for the new hard copy Budget Book. TFS 💕
I just paid off one of my credit cards thanks to the inspiration you gave me thru your instagram and videos, thank you so much Kumiko!! Greetings from Mexico
You're looking hot mama! & CONGRATS!!!!!! I just brought the old workbook. I like this version with all of the areas on one page & the option of having it mailed. So cool, can't wait! Are these going to be on your website?
I just bought your budget workbook last month (and it’s so helpful!) Will these new sheets shown in this video be available for those who already bought the workbook?
Thank you so much for wonderful instructions! I was wondering where you keep up with how much cushion you have in your checking account? The funds that you moved from your envelopes to savings, do you keep track of that anywhere? Also, those envelopes are gorgeous! I just purchased several sets during your black Friday sell, but I did not see these. Is there anywhere I can purchase this set of envelopes (the envelopes with the flowers lol)?
Very helpful video!! You do a great job with your forms - what computer program do you use? They’ve really evolved over time - can’t wait for book to come out!
I love the new layout of the paycheck bill tracker. I literally just bought your budget booklet about 2 weeks ago. Is there a way I can go back and get the new layout?
I hope you don't mind me being so nosey but I am curious about your 4th of july fund. Do you go out of town or is it for fireworks? Great video as usual!!!!
Did you get your eyelashes done or were they like that. It looks like one eyelash side is thicker or fuller. Sorry I know random lol. Great video like always.
Looking forward to the new videos with one paycheck since that's my case :) I usually spend all of my money as soon as I get my paycheck and I'm left with little or no money at the end of the month. Btw, I noticed a typo on the start of the video: "Real women. Real finances. Real life", shouldn't it be "Real woman" 🤔?
@@Eteeee Yes, I know it's plural. I thought that in the context "The budget mom" it should be singular, otherwise it should be "The budget moms" to fit the plural form.
I totally get what you’re saying, but I think the direction she was going with it isn’t directing the start of the video at her self only. I think she’s directing it to women in general. Real women, real finances, real life.
@@Eteeee No problem, don't worry :). I just thought that women are not the only people that are doing their finances. I thought she was talking about her and her story, that's why I thought it should be 'Real woman'.
My credit is my main concern at the moment, I looked at it a few months ago, and was very disappointed. I get calls daily from people but I’m honestly unsure where all my debt belongs now. For example, my Victoria secret card was sold to another company so it no longer shows on my credit. (For now). How do I start sorting througj what is on credit and know what if it is still valid. Some debts are 7 years old, some 3 years old.
Did you get botox in your forehead? Sorry for the invasive question...and you dont have to answer. But would love to know your experience if you did. 💜 Congratulations on doing this full time. Ive learned a lot from your videos.
