I have done many tasks in February, such as spread manure, tree trimming, corn harvest, but never any tillage. Last year, February was dryish, and 2024 is trying to repeat that. Now it is March while I'm posting this, and its back to standard Ohio excessive wetness. The two inch spikes do a fine job; I do like three inchers for a little more soil action. Four inchers are just too much for these old chisels.
