I actually love that no one is moshing. Makes it proper screamo. Look at shows by Louise Cyphre or Reversal of Man, people are losing their shit but not doing spin kicks and other bullshit beatdown moves. Screamo used to be the safehaven from that type of behavior.
These bands should be entertaining their audience instead of having their backs turned to the people watching. Need to get out of this band masterbation syndrome.
@@kvikmynd Thanks for the reply man. I’m 61 (yeah, an old fart) but I love all music. I grew up in the days of punk. I actually love what these kids are doing but how are we supposed to get into the music if they’re just keeping it to themselves?? That’s sad. That’s one difference between these kids and the likes of Olivia Rodrigo. She’s being massively coached on how to connect and maybe these guys are just too cool to share. The beauty of art and music is how it connects people. For the love of whatever almighty, someone please tell them! It would be awesome to have shows with good gear so you can hear everything and if they could turn the fuck around and treat those kids that were excited to come here them play.

its very very very common for screamo bands to play with their backs turned to the audience. bands have been doing it literally since the genres conception.
