I think it's possible, D.B. landed on a ship traveling up river. This way he would have been able to get off outside the search area of the FBI and got away without taking a swim.
I agree with her on the theory that the flight attendants helped the guy, but I have something to add to make it work better. I think he did not jump out into the river. He jumped out at a location he knows very well but told the attendants to tell the pilots he jumped into the river as decoy so that investigators will be looking for him at the wrong place wasting resources. In this scenario all the pilots will be locked in the cockpit and dependent on the flight attendants as source of information. After landing safely he probably went to the river put some dollars there to make the deception more believable.
1:16:29 I know one of the SAS Operators who made entry into the Iranian Embassy. I was lucky enough to meet him and fixed his computer. We got talking and now can just message him. An absolute legend. He even gave me his book and also some photos which aren’t in the public from what I can see; it was a photo of him taken through the scope of a Metropolitan Police Sniper Scope. He signed it all but I feel truly honoured to meet and talk in depth about the very operation called Operation Nimrod, in which the world essentially found out that they even existed. He’s such a nice guy and getting all the little details from him and who ‘dropped’ who…as well as being able to thank him for his service was/is a true privilege. If you’re wondering…he’s obviously getting on in years but I’m confident he could put me on the floor with one arm.
Awesome show Myron and Angie! Keep up the good work. Im a game developer and your videos are awesome when im working late and want something interesting to watch.
Unbelievable work as per usual brother, no video on the internet which covers all bases of DBC like this does. I'm thinking of doing something similar when it comes to history.
Smoking was banned on planes in the 90s.. When i came here in 1991 we sat in the Smoking section next to this lady that chain smoked immediately after taking off.
If he was smart enough to ask for the notes that he gave the attendant back, then he probably took the 5k out and threw out the plane to make investigators not search the place he actually landed.
I think he died that night tbh, ppl probably want to believe he didn’t just to add to the story but given the weather conditions and the fact that the only bills that were recovered were washed up and not spent… yeahh
Please cover barefoot bandit case it’s very interesting. A teenager taught himself to fly planes he was stealing and flying planes from the local airstrip and also committing burglary on all the holiday houses in his villages he would live for months a time in the forest he would never wear shoes hence why he’s names the barefoot bandit. He would successfully fly and sometimes crash land the planes he stole he was wanted for a long period of time no force could catch him untill he stole his final plane and crash landed in the Caribbean and was later caught by the police he stole a boat tried to flee but they caught up with him. He was from Camano island, WA
I think it was Kenneth P Christiansen, they said he just didn’t have enough hair and looked lighter. What if Dan Cooper looked heavier because of a skintight water suit he had underneath ??
Great show, Myron.! 👌👌 Please do us a massive favour and next time when on the other show these girls use the term 'woman' in place of the actual term "women", do ask them why they do that. So many are using it. It's so strange! Cheers.

A little late to watch this but wouldn’t you think that sticking with D.B. Cooper instead of Dan Cooper would naturally take attention off the real suspect, Dan Cooper?
Can we get the Alaskan serial killer Robert Hansen case? I saw you did the agent case, can we get the serial killer? There was a movie with Nicholas Cage, John Cusak, and 50 Cent.
1:19:57 who was relaying the the message between the captain of the airplane and DBC? To find out if he used that exact same phrase “Negociable American currency” we need to ask the flight attendant that spoke directly to him!
if he died by sea he would have still had air in his body so he would have floated and been found. i don't remember anyone retrieving his parachutes either. dead or alive the currency must be HEAVEN money where ever he ended up.
Here is a thought that sounds odd till you think on it. DB Cooper didn't exsist. It was a plot designed by the flight crew. Question how does he know the plane needed fueled if he never left his seat. He knows so much about the plane during flight that he ordered the pilots to lower flaps to specific degrees all while never leaving his seat or speaking to anyone.
Nobody actually saw Cooper jump. Which means, he did not necesserily jump. Perhaps the "let's go to Mexico" negotiation was offered knowing he'd have to "settle" for Reno... where he was familiar with the airport and could slip out during the hullabaloo.
@@Trickey2413 I didn't say he didn't take off with the plane. People saw him take off with the plane. That means he did take off with the plane. Read my comment again and see if you can notch up your IQ enough to understand the hypothesis before you dismiss it.
@@lmaostrnoob idk angie usually has more energy it seemed like she was lowkey mad at him for something but aye man we come here to watch true crime not chit chat
He probably wore longjohns but that would not be enough, if he hit the water which sounds likely, he would have gone hypothermic within a half hour, he died.
You pretty much stated my theory how they know who it is. Im sure they sometime recently pulled DNA from the cigarettes they saved in evidence. Thats ehy thry closed thr case in 2016 imoj
@fedreacts don't forget that if u do El chapo ur gonna have to talk about felix gallardo and El tio Neto, and caro quintero, those are the godfathers of the mexican cartels
