Here's another full cycle test of Jasper's sirens, more particularly this 2001-SRNB. It's located on the north side of town near a couple schools and a trailer park on Portersville Road. There's three -SRNBs in the system and they all run the steady signal, whereas the other ones can be a wildcard. They might not be the most unique siren, but I loved how the drone shots turned out. Towards the end you can hear the downtown DSA run a couple more cycles of wail.
Sirens in Jasper are tested every first day of the month, promptly at 4pm They are controlled by the city police while other sirens in the county are tested at 6pm by the county’s dispatch center. Tests usually get postponed or cancelled if severe weather is expected (or if there's an active storm in the area).
Enjoy, and as always comment, like, and subscribe for more. Thanks!
