This was my first test of the day as well as being my first ever Modulator. I heard the "pop" and knew it was time for us to rock n roll.
The weather channel beeps were loud with voice being pretty mild on the ears, but crystal clear in regards to intelligibility.
I was disappointed with the siren until it reached full power around 10 seconds into the alert cycle. I never realized these had the "soft start" feature enabled. This thing had a deep undertone that was louder than the actual alert frequencies (850/1020HZ) and it really threw my ears for a loop. Along with the deep bass from the undertone, the dual tone led to this harsh buzzing effect similar to the sound of an electric razor. This siren was nice and loud.
I could hear just about every other unit in the background and I will definitely be returning here in the future.
Sorry about the truck noise. Some idiot decided to park his Toyota Tundra right next to me 1 minute before noon.
