Hello, I want to start Pharmacy licensure in Canada and want to stay there permanently after I receive the license. I need to apply for an open work permit or co-op work permit prior to attending the bridging program in British Columbia. Will the permit give me enough time to finish my exams after the bridging program? How long is the co-op work permit valid for? As an electrician, Can I apply to FWSP? I have more than 5 years experience working as electrician in the past 10 years but I do not have 2 years of working experience in the past 5 years. I have a certificate for electrician and a certificate IV and a diploma of project management. I’m 33, 7 English in Ielts and I think I am able to get the minimum for points taking some French exam. Hello, I am a doctor in physics. Recently, I contacted an immigration consultation firm and they found me eligible for 3 programs including the FSW. Now, what I know about immigration to canada is that when you arrive there, you have to work anything to survive the first period then apply for jobs in your field of work (which is very narrow for me compared to technicians for example). Therefore, there is a risk to not find any suitable job that guarentess a good income that allows me to cover my depenses. The consultant that contacted me told me that there is no risk and I am highly skilled worker that's why I will directly work in my field (high school education, research, academic education) . I am not sure if that's true or it's just a lie to encourage me to pay more money for the rest of the immigration process. I will be very thankfull to have an honest response about my concern.
