Thank goodness you made a video on this, just discovered the game on bga and the "official" how to play was very disjointed. Sad that this game does not appear to be available from anywhere :(
Intriguing and very colorful game 😄 Pulled the trigger on this as I found a highly discounted copy with a damaged box. I usually play solo, I will have to multi-hand this most of my plays, but it looks deep enough for some fun time. Thank you Paul & friends for the vid.
I have been trying to get a copy in the UK for 2 years.... Picked one up on a recent trip to Seattle.. I'm happy that I have the Eagle Gryphon copy with the better rule book...
Paul, I'm disappointed. I finally played my copy a few weeks ago and I didn't have a Gaming Rules! video then. Where were you when I needed you?! Obvious kidding aside, wonderdul game and I'm glad you now have a video up for it!
1:52:47 - Rulebook page 13: “At the Beginning of Round 4, in addition to the 2 tiles revealed for this round, reveal the last 2 tiles as well [ALL 4 final tiles]. If the last 2 tiles are identical, switch the right-wing [of the senate] tiles so that you have different law tiles during round 4 and 5.”
I'm just asking for those who see this. Do you really like this format? I love this channel, but the small board makes seeing what's going on near impossible for any level of meaningful engagement. I would argue that his tutorial videos to setup and play (previous format) are the best in the industry.
Thanks Eric. I still create those how-to-play videos: got a few more planned this year. This video was not a sponsored one, I would go to more effort if it was. But I think I did quite a good job, zooming in on parts during the explanation. But for the main playthrough the video should just give an idea of how it plays.
Not impressed with what I'm seeing. Hate the look of the board and the game just seems like a bunch of random stuff thrown together with no real purpose.
