I think what Federer has done so far, in this late stages of his career, is quite incredible: winning slams or reaching slam finals (he came SO close to winning Wimbledon last year) at 35-36 and further is special. In my opinion, it's not given that Djokovic can sustain, in the next two or three years, the high level at which he nowadays plays...we will see.

Main characteristics of their games: Federer: The most agressive player in history! Always going forward and taking the ball really early, subsequently giving the opponent no steady time and and hitting a higher amount of winners than any other player. Just look at the statistics. Djokovic: Although you can't see variation on his game or many winners, he's a player that is very consistent shot by shot, always trying to hit deeper balls in order to make life difficut for the opponent, mainly with the backhand, forcing him to make the mistake. Furthermore, he doesn't give up real easy, huh?!

@@MrPernell27 Of course he is! Every player that has faced Roger knows that he doesn't give you any steady time, mainly because he takes the ball real early and break the rhythm really fast. @eoe123321 yes , that is true a that just show us that Rafa and Novak was have much tougher competition. Hewitt did`t manage to beat Roger at big stage aka GS, from 8 matches during 2004-2010, while at the same period of time teenage Novak was manage beat Roger TWICE from just 6 matches. If we extend that to 9 matches ( 2011) , Novak manage to score four victorys. So, if Hewitt and Rodick also ( 0- 8 at GS) , could acomplish near what teenage Novak done Roger GS tally would be much much smaller than it is now ( aka 14-15). BUT , than we enter in zone ``what if`` and that never ends.
