I am a rare fan who loves both of these guys. Of course, was a huge Fed fan early. Then Djoker. I am always conflicted who to root for when they play big matches like Wimbledon finals. But I have to say, Djokovic has always been more respectful to Roger than Roger has to Novak. You can see it in the handshakes still.....

We can see during the handshake that Roger was already mad whereas Novak even if he lost had the smile and people keep saying Federer is the most fair-play player on the tour....

And here we are in 2021 and Djokovic attempting to reach immortality with Golden Slam and has already surpassed Federer and Nadal. Life is a wonder.

Wow he really did took a set out of the legend Roger in their very first meeting as a qualifier! And the crowd were very pro djokovic. Back then I would know I'd stan the right person. Also 18 year old Novak is damn handsome 😍

Federer won major slams during the period when his opponents were ageing Agassi, Sampras, Safin, Henmen, Davydenko and then similar aged players like Roddick. He stopped winning rapidly once Nadal & Djokovic came in their prime.

IMHO i admire Djokovic more compared to Federer and Nadal, the way Djokovic has done against Federer and Nadal is extremely unbelievable. I have been a Federer fanboy since childhood but you gotta admit - Novak's groundstrokes here itself is clearly more superior than Rogers'. Roger has more variety with the slice and superior net game but it was a weird feeling watching the highlights where it seemed like Roger was the one more likely to make a mistake.

I'm a huge Fed fan but in the end what we see is a humble Djokovic and a stuck up Roger :) I like Djoko, people give him too much hate just because he came between Rog and Rafa

Federer as early as 2004 ( here in 2006 ) has a weight in his shoulders to deliver week in and week out. He was already been tagged to be the GOAT this early. Not taking away from the other 2, but they dont have the expectation and pressure Federer had when he's on top back then. Roger did very well considering those circumstances, he could have won more if not for those mental burdens...

Federer's FH in 2006 was a beast of a stroke.. He lost a lot of steam in the 2010s..

Federer new he could feel it .....and wasnt happy about it .....and on top of that losing a set to qualifyer .

Always going forward and taking the ball really early, subsequently giving the opponent no steady time and and hitting a higher amount of winners than any other player. Just look at the statistics. Djokovic: Although you can't see variation on his game or many winners, he's a player that is very consistent shot by shot, always trying to hit deeper balls in order to make life difficut for the opponent, mainly with the backhand, forcing him to make the mistake. Furthermore, he doesn't give up real easy, huh?!

Im a huge djoko fan but i greatly admire the exploits of federer.at age 24, he is the world number 1 and he has 37 titles under his name!i dont think any of the next gen ATP players can ever achieve that.well none of them at the moment....
