honestly it's funny because you can be the type of person that drinks a glass of wine every night, or even a borderline alcoholic, and get hired no problem. I hit a joint to go to sleep on the regular don't drink at all and i might fail a drug test! smh we gotta do better America

thats me right now smh I got offered a part time position for freight handler and they want to do a drug test... like damn man I don't even party or do anything I lead a boring life and just go to the gym and when I leave Ill smoke a joint to go to bed, now that is coming back to haunt me. :(

Meanwhile Fedex delivers much more dangerous controlled substances to my house from my pharmacy...making them literal drug mules.

I drink quite a bit four days before my test. If they see alcohol, will they not hire you? That seems a little extreme to think that their drivers never drink

They don’t do hair follicle right? That’s the brutal one

DOT doesn't count hair follicle so most delivery companies don't use it. If you got a Class-A Commercial License and a company tested you using hair and you came up dirty it would never go to DOT registry as a strike against you unless you got busted on a urine test. Companies that use hair follicle do it for their own insurance standards.

Do regular FedEx drivers get tested? Or is it just the CDL truck drivers?

They don’t get tested cause they’re not FedEx employees just contractors. Ppl who get tested are managers, switchers, and cdl drivers.

All fedex drivers get drug tested before getting hired, in most states that is the law. The package handlers don’t need to pass a drug test though, thats why so many people work there who smoke weed
