This has the be like the most wholesome and adorable imagining of these characters.

it's crazy how fast Seymour can be persuaded. At the beginning of the song, Seymour tries to stop Audrey II and outright denies his pleas, but at the end, namely the VERY end, 5:55 and on, his expressions change from confused/bewildered to angry/murderous. And then when Audrey 2 put his hand on Seymour, the lighting on his face changed and his glasses clouded up until the very last shot where we saw how angry he looked, he didn't even look like himself. Moral of the Story: Don't talk to hungry plants or they will make you throw away your entire code of ethics.

“DOES THIS LOOK ‘INANIMATE’ TO YOU, PUNK?!” They way you drew their expressions is too funny. 🤣

The face Audrey II makes when it says "I'm starving" is adorable

I haven't listened to the entirety of Be More Chill, but I am absolutely in love with the idea of a human-like Audrey II! The design is really creative, using the flytrap part as a method of "hiding" until he comes out with it as a fancy coat. I really like how expressive everyone is in this animatic, especially the bit where Seymour subtly breaks the fourth wall before asking "I beg your pardon?" Overall, excellent work!

I like how the plant hands him a Machete, which is the weapon he tries to kill him with. It’s a nice little detail.

Omg I cannot express my love for this enough?? These vibes. They’re impeccable. I positively ADORE how you designed Audrey 2’s outfit to make it a little hood to hide as a flytrap rather than always appearing human, just that little extra hint at a sort of malicious intent and giving a reason for everyone to call him a plant. Also the moments where Twoey isn’t fully out of the hood and looks like a gremlin are some of the greatest things I have ever seen at all ever. And each character has a specific base character but you can tell exactly who they are and what kind of character they are just by looking at them?? Not to mention you have my dream artstyle, I would massacre to draw like you oml. Everyone is so expressive and just. Gorgeous Tl;dr characters are extremely baby and very well designed, I have taken a particular liking to plant gremlin, and I would kill for your artstyle

I will now sum up the entirety of this animatic: Gremlin super computer plant asks nervous Gardner high school boi to feed him blood so he can be big and stronk and kill everybody But really I adore this animatic so much, the combination of my 2nd favorite musical and a good movie and musical is just gorgeous! Mad props to you and I hope to see more from you in the future!

I love how Audrey ll looks at Seymour after Orin and Audrey leave like "you know what to do".

Holy cow, stellar work, my friend! I love the expressions and creativity of this scene, but especially your design of Audrey 2. Not just the whole 'turn a plant into a humanoid' thing (which is also really awesome, and allows for much better expressions and movements), but also those evil, beady eyes and his sly, hungry smile... the kind of smile that people would kill for. Serious kudos for your hard work and creativity. You just earned a subscriber!

Fun fact: Much like how the original Audrey 2 was played by Ron Taylor (that's original as in the musical, not in the movie when Twoey was played by the late and equally great Levi Stubbs), this particular version is played by the great Michael-Leon Wooley. For those not in the know, that's Louie from The Princess and the Frog. And yes, when you learn this, you'll have a hard time hearing him the same way again.

This kind of crossover makes an absurd amount of sense. Add a best friend character to Seymour and it’s a bad ending and then it’s a carbon copy.
