Amoeba is a unicellular organism. The amoeba senses the food and then moves towards it. It extends its cell membrane as if it's hugging to engulf the food. Digestive juices are secreted from the vacuole in order to break down the food into a simpler substance. Afterwards, the digested food is absorbed directly into the cytoplasm due to the distribution. Then the utilisation of the food takes place which results in the growth of the cell. The undigested portion is carried out by the ruptured nature of the cell membrane

Nutrition in an amoeba occur through a process called phagocytosis where the entire organism pretty much engulfs the food it plans on eating up. The mode of nutrition in amoeba is known as holozoic nutrition. It involves the digestion, ingestion and egestion in food materials

The unicellular amoeba engulfs tiny particles of food by throwing its false feet,known as pseudopodia around it . The pseudopodia join together to form a small cavity known as food vacuole . The food inside the vacuole is digested by digestive juices. It is absorbed and assimilated there to provide energy and perform other functions.

Homework mam--- Nutrition in amoeba occurs through the process of phagocytosis. It is when the cell membrane of amoeba is entangled and the food is absorbed and after that there are the food vacuole which absorb the nutrients form the food and spread to every part/corner of amoeba. Then, the Excess water and waste is taken out by the process of contractile vacuole of amoeba.

*ANSWER OF THE HOMEWORK QUESTION* :- *The Nutrition in Amoeba is known as Phagocytosis* •1) Egestion:- The Pseudopodia(False feet) extends and forms a circle around the food this space is known as 'food vacule' •2) Digestion, Absorption and Assimilation:- The Amoeba then releases digestive juices into the vacule and the food gets digested then the 'Cytoplasm' absorbs the digested particles of food . This is then utilized for getting energy. •3) Egestion:- The undigested food from the food vacule is expelled 😊😊😄😄☺

It has pesucoles to take the food ( ingestion ) then it produces digestive juices to digest the food ( digetion ) then it brakes the food into smal partivls and this helps to absorve the food ( absorbtion ) then it is used gor multiplication and etc ( acclimatization) the it exreates the waste through small opening ( exreation )
