drizzal83 this is not abuse. You watch some horrendous videos on training monkeys. They call them rats and they are so horrible to them I couldn’t watch. I accidentally ran across one video and cried all day. That’s abuse. This is love. And if she can’t go back to the wild then maybe they can start a sanctuary of their own. But at least these baby’s get a chance at life. Seeing monkeys tied up and hung by their necks to force them to stand up is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever seen. So Su.

If you were comparing the size of the monkey and the amount of milk they gave her, it would be like someone forcing 2 quarts of liquid down our throat in less than 2 minutes. You will never see the vomiting she has to be doing.

What is truly amazing is the people who complain about humans helping Heidi. If they are serious about wanting better laws in Cambodia they should pursue laws to stop the sale of monkeys from Cambodia to medical laboratories all over the world. People can't say she doesn't look any better anymore. This is the first time I think in her life she's had a really truly full stomach of milk and her eyes look clearer and less squinty then ever in her little life. Sure this is just the tip of the iceberg and and will mean absolutely nothing if they don't continue this feeding for at least 1 month but i guess we will wait an see if they do the right thing and fatten her up or just let her go back in a day or two....

Abigail did such a good job of taking care of Heidi that she didn’t allow her to be fed in peace by the VO’s. She’s a mean and extremely selfish and greedy monkey who isn’t even Heidi’s birth mother. That baby is always running away from Abigail. NEVER have I EVER seen another baby monkey running away from it’s mother. On the contrary, they’re always running after their mothers even when they get horrifically mistreated and abused by them. Abigail only used Heidi so she could get food for herself. She didn’t like to see that little baby being fed and was always grabbing at the food to stuff her own face whilst the VO’s were trying to feed it to Heidi. If she stayed with Abigail she would surely die.

I would've given her weight gainers high in protein since she had no lactating mother.. that in combination with fruits, greens, starches, and other little things they normally eat in the wild... leaving out all the unnecessary injections she was getting..I believe she would've grown to be a healthy beautiful monkey.

Charity Majesty , it's baby formula I think. Has more protein than the soy milk...do ya think? They keep the blue can on the table for the viewers to see.
@@capemaxi Monkeys are not supposed to have cows milk [unless it is raw]or soy milk. The sanctuaries and zoos use baby formula or goat's milk. Soy milk and regular milk do not have the enzymes a monkey needs for their digestive tract. They are feeding the right formula but using too much powder to water ratio and they are feeding her too much too fast.

She has no hope of recovery no matter how much you wish she would. By taking her, they are abusing her. She is not “going bald”, her hair is changing color to a more adult coloring (grey color). Her coloring is much better, she is not yellow and bloated like she was last week. She will be returning to Abigail. They are just feeding her and giving her a better chance of surviving. Folks, give them a chance to give Heidi a better start.

They think we are crazy to care about them, but they have found a way to make money. I don't blame someone for trying to care of their families, but to do it on the backs of sick and injured baby monkeys just for monetary gain is despicable.
The abusers are the people who prefer to do nothing and watch her starve to death. If you get sick do NOT ask for medical help. Let nature follow its course.
