The reason they are all "cage Defensive" is because you never handle them unless its feeding time, and when you do, you have left a negative mark on them. another thing is that a 4x2 for a six foot red tail is not okay the bare minimum you could've done is a 4x2x4 as they are a semi arboreal species. They also have No hides so they feel the need to defend themselves. the reason your other friends don't have these problems is probably because either they got lucky or they actually provide hides and or handle them even when food is not involved. also would not recommend handling before feeding as it can get them stressed especially if they are defensive. make sure not to keep yearling's together as they can be territorial and will nip bite and potentially kill one another. Lastly no hate brotha just tryna help out, sorry if it came off aggressive just really passionate n proper husbandry even if it's for wild caught
And don't pick up snakes that are feeding, or in the process of "killing" their prey. It abandoned the kill because it was stressed and perceived danger. He's also handling snakes, and then handling a king snake, a snake that hunts other snakes. These snakes are just stressed animals because of the conditions they are in, and created by a lack of knowledge. I genuinely mean no disrespect, but I'm also not going to remain silent when I see stressed snakes due to a lack of knowledge.
What I love about Blake, Paul, and Jacob is that how their parents are always there to help and also their siblings and Kenan who has his lovely young family helping and supporting with all the wonderful animals 😊 ❤💙💜💖💗
Jacob you are so so awsome! I have a ball python, so I have expirienced the shedding procces. I love how you are so good to you animals❤ i also love watching your videos happy New Years
New to your channel and new subscriber. Thanks for the amazing video. What's a good way(s) to thaw out frozen foods for those who live in drought-stricken regions where water conservation is of paramount importance? Will you make a video showing alternative ways to thaw out their food? King Snakes are the best and so amazing! Loved to see him down that python! Great idea to feed him invasive species!
Sorry I write it the the wrong thing so have a good life and don't don't let anybody in charge of you just be yourself have a good life don't go down on me I love you say live
Have you ever thought about they strike at you because you're feeding them in the same holding tank that they live in try feeding them in a separate tote or box or something like that and they won't strike at you when you try to get them out
Maybe so I had five snakes I had a 20 ft and a 18-ft Burmese pythons and they were very bad about that that's why I said maybe try not feeding the rest of them in their enclosure just thought I'd try to help
Of course you can smell it but he doesn't use his nose is a special organ in his mouth where the air around whatever like smelling it uses his tongue so when his tongue goes into the special organ he can tell what's around him and very far away so a snake is a really good Hunter
