Feeding all my pet reptiles juicy silkworms! In today's video, we'll be touring my reptile room, feeding a bunch of my reptiles some delicious silkworms! Hope you enjoy it!

It’s so striking how the green tree monitors, especially Sabzi, have so much alert presence. There’s someone home behind those watchful eyes. Hello! I have been watching your channel for a while, and love your content! I have a pair of crocodile skinks, and their first egg hatched on Valentine’s Day! I wasn’t expecting it, but I found it while I was putting some new plants in, and it hatched when I found it!

For me the hardest thing is finding decor, plants and replacement parts for my enclosures. Our big pet stores don't carry a good variety of reptile supplies besides lights and substrates and basic feeders. The only reptile specialty store "in my area" is an hour away. I really wish i could open my own reptile store 💜

For the QOD, I may be wrong but do correct me if I am. The hardest part, I think, is keeping the humidity up for some reptiles and having all the right equipment for them that they need like UVB bulbs, and hot and cold spot etc.

Keeping a varied diet has definitely been the most challenging. But breeding your own feeders is rewarding in its own, the staple for dart frogs are fruit flies but I am trying out some micro roaches to supplement and varied my mantella and allobate's diet. I also have some silkworm cocoons that hopefully will turn into sky puppies and laid eggs for the next generation. In total I am culturing 6 various types of roaches and worms to rotate as feeders. Varing your animals diet really help stimulate them and make them happy.

The hardest problem I have had is finding quality food and supplies. Up in a northern small town we only have box stores, with low selection on top of it. We are lucky enough though to have other enthusiasts who raise and order in feeders and other supplies as a small at home business. Even myself I have to order in Pangea gecko foods and even UVB lighting because no local shops stock it. I hold myself to a high standard of care and refuse to dip to the low quality of our box stores. My advice is to make sure you know how to get in supplies even outside of local stores. And show support to your other local enthusiasts, you may have something to offer yourself to those near by.

6:16 well I think the hardest part of keeping my crested gecko is that he likes to go to the back of the enclosure, it's quite difficult to handle him now.

They are very very shy little guys, I went to a expo the other day looking for one an got very lucky and found only one red eyed croc skink it’s crazy how many times I got to a expo an never seen one or even known bout them so just wanted to think you for your videos I wouldn’t of ever known bout them if it wasn’t for you!! 🥹

Thanks! I appreciate your support and viewership! I offer all sorts of feeders! Hornworms, crickets, roaches, fruitflies, wax worms, mealworms, super worms, butter worms, isopods, springtails, earthworms, and frozen-thawed rodents, birds, fish and frogs!

I breed my feeders bc where i live i have to either drive an hour to get them or order then online and with all the winter storms we keeping having this year its been hard to travel we are actually getting a snow storm tonight . So i breed my crickets and meal works in several 10 gallon tanks and in tubs

I have had my first reptile since I was 8 she is a corn snake mix with a Gopher snake Her name is Zarin and I think mean you have a lot in common. I would like to see more videos on Tokay geckos I'm getting one this Tuesday and I don't know very much but enough to own 1 but very little. Hello! I keep snakes, lizards and frogs and I love to give them a varied diet of course but no one (not including snakes because they eat rats and the occasional chick) but my pacman will eat silk worms! My Chahuoa in particular is very picky and won’t eat any insect besides crickets so I try and give him as many rephashy options throughout the week. I always offer week after week just in case they wanna try them but nope! I’m convinced these are the Brussels sprouts of the reptile world. Any tips would be much appreciated ❤😂

In general, the big one is the white eyes are generally a lot more bold than the red eyes.

I don't know if you're going to listen to this but, I love your videos and I want to challenge you to get a baby giant day gecko and slowly over-gain its trust and tame it to become handleable and document your experience on RU-vid. I say this because about 7 months ago I got a baby and slowly tamed it to where it likes to be picked up. I want to see you take on the challenge as they are known to be skittish.

One thing I don't like about keeping reptiles or amphibians is the fact that a lot of places don't allow them as pets. I live in an apartment complex and on my lease it states no rodents, reptiles, amphibians... pretty much all they allow here are cats and dogs, and they charge quite a bit to keep them here, AND rent keeps going up every year. I've never had a pet reptile before and I want a crested gecko, but unless I sneak one in, I can't keep one here :(

I didn't know that a Dart Frog could eat something that large! I thought their smaller mouths meant that they only ate fruit flies

Isn't it astounding!? This trait is specific to the Phyllobates terribilis! You are corrrect, the majority of dart frogs feed on microphagous prey and cannot eat insects this large!
