Oh my…the salad could be a meal in itself and the BLT’s look divine!,, you look amazing no matter what you’re wearing even if you’ve been working outside! That glorious cobbler YUM!!! ❤ oh I hope everyone feels better soon…that’s a bummer to be under the weather in summer, anytime actually, but worst in the summer! You are absolutely the best homemaker…the BEST!!!❤
Your commitment to feeding your family with the food you’ve grown is a testament to your hard work, patience, and deep connection to the earth. Each meal becomes more than just sustenance; it’s a labor of love, a gift of nature, and a celebration of life’s simple, yet profound, joys. The way you nurture and provide for your loved ones is truly heartwarming and speaks volumes about the values you hold dear. And I am Floating Village Life.
Just made our new favorite summer recipe; chicken bruschetta. Marinated chicken in olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic, s&p, garlic powder, onion powder; grilled it and added a slice of mozzarella cheese just as the chicken finishes cooking. Make a side of fresh diced tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, olive oil, and some really nice balsamic...topped the chicken with it when it was done; it was fresh and delicious. Also made a coleslaw with a little mayo, rice vinegar, golden raisins, sliced apple S&P and some green onions; it's my personal fave. Love your videos!
You are such a breath of fresh air. I enjoy how your family joins in by bringing in some fresh garden tomatoes to making cookies with you. Missed a glimpse of your littlest one this time. You really are an inspiration in homemaking.
Steph, I'm always impressed how you handle a big knife slicing toward your thumb or other hand. You seem so seasoned in the kitchen and it inspires me to see all these cooking videos. Also LOVE when you do gardening content. Thank you for all you share!
I just found you and your channel. 💗. Thank you for all you stand for 🕊️. You and your family are a beautiful blessing. Thank you for all the recipes and refreshing ideas. The watermelon salad looks so good.
Always excited to see your videos! They are filled with beauty and creativity reminds me of the proverbs 31 woman keep it up!!❤❤ We have been eating all the fruits and vegetables that are in season, don't have a garden this year because we moved. But so great ful to support a couple from church who have a fresh produce stand just down the road!
Made a quick salad this week that I have been obsessed with: tomato, cucumber, avocado, basil pesto and burrata cheese with salt & pepper. The burrata is such a nice protein addition that keeps you full for a while
We have zucchini and cucumbers and tomatoes coming out of the garden. My favorite is to shred the zucchini in scrambled eggs. We eat the tomatoes and cucumbers plain or in ranch.
Love your sunshine and encouragement !!!! I just wanted to let you know how much you bring blessings to my life. Walking through some really hard pain and being able to watch helps me so much 🥰💝💝💝
Always exciting to see your vlogs! So glad everyone is getting better. My grands just down the road from me have all been fighting the flu. All your recipes and ideas look so yummy. Thank you for sharing! God Bless ❤
this Video has been in my watch later list..finally got to it and really enjoyed all the creative ideas especially the lunch leftovers salad turned out looking divine and definitely want to try that high protein dessert. Thank you for your videos !!! 😊
I love all your food inspo. It's been inspiring for me as a young mom. With the heat of peppers, I have heard that the more water they get the less spicy they are.
I’m going to check out Tranwell, thanks. I’m harvesting cucumbers, squash, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, and tomatoes. I will be making a veggie lasagna and a sweet & tangy cucumber salad. You’ve inspired me to give bread baking a go. Prayers for your family 🤧
I love your videos! They give lots of cooking inspiration. Thank you for sharing! The salad looks so good! We've been enjoying ceviche quite a bit this summer.
Love watching you and your beautiful family! ❤ Recipe to try. Watermelon, cucumber with Balsamic vinegar topped with Feta. So good and refreshing. We keep the watermelon and cucumber mix in fridge and top with the feta before eating.
My favorite summer treats are fresh salsa , sliced crispy cucumber on a piece of sourdough bread spread with mayonnaise and topped with a huge tomato slice salt and pepper, that is my meal sometimes 😊.
Hi, Can you do a video discussing your "what you eat in a day?". How did you get the weight off after each of your pregnancies? I enjoy watching you even though I am not a homemaker. Your videos make me happy!
My favorite "go to" Summer Salad is Tomato, Cucumber, Purple Onion. Toss with EVOO, Balsamic Vinegar, s & p, and sprinkle a little Feta. Done and done. Steph, your Melon Salad looks delish and I will be trying it. I am enjoying your channel from my home in Spanish Fort, Alabama! Blessings to you and yours 😊
Yum 😋 looks delicious!! Last night I made Greek kebabs and cold orzo salad with cucumber, tomatoe, feta and green onion. I love simple fresh foods in summer ❤
I love it when it’s summer time and the watermelon are ready to eat. I absolutely love watermelon. Your BLT’S looked so delicious but I would have added some onion to mine, JS 😊 Love your videos and I look forward to them every week God bless
All the food looks amazing and is so inspiring! I would love to try a bite of your cottage cheese/chocolate whip! We are dairy free here though - so my go to is to melt some coconut butter with some dark chocolate and fill a pitted date with the mixture. It is the perfect sweet treat!! They keep well in the fridge too. I have BLT's on the menu this week and now I am so excited to make them! Still waiting to harvest our garden tomatoes here in Wisconsin as they are not ripe yet, so a store bought tomato it is!
Love the video! Ahh Steph, the good ole Mennonite in me was curious if you and I were related and apparently you and my mom are third cousins. 😂 😊 I found that interesting.
I love the same salad and mix strawberries with mine. Steph, in your last video were you wearing the Isla dress? I loved that striped one on you as well. I just got the Brown Charleston skirt and the Isla. The cream Charleston skirt and Margot for my mum. We both have the new strain of Covid. You have such amazing videos. Love to see your home and love to see another routine one. You always motivate me even with Covid lol. I love looking at RU-vid videos that women of all ages share and help women with new ideas, recipes etc. What a great community! ❤️❤️
Hello Steph!!! Another fun video!!! I love watermelon!!! We've had alot of tomatoes and cucumbers they are so good!!!!😊 Your videos are so exciting and fun to watch!!! Thanks for sharing so many good recipes with us!!! Looking forward to your next one!!! Until then take care and God bless 😊❤
Tfs! We ve been doing lots of fancy sandwiches this summer since it's so hot. We smoke pork and chicken then use that for sandwiches, just change up spices/flavors. For dinner something quick like steak or shishkabobs grilled over the fire outside on the big metal skewers. Fresh dug potatoes and tomato Cucumber salad with either sour cream or olive oil, oh so good!!
I’m shocked you don’t have a million followers. Everything you make looks beautiful and tasty! And I don’t even eat meat lol 😆 Thank you for posting a happy cooking video! Glad everyone is feeling better.
I am watch your videos from India. Just love the way you handle and manage things. Curious to know do you get some time for yourself to pamper and rest? We have one kid who keeps us on our toes always 😊
Salad looks yummy. I found a Chipotle salad recipe on instagram that I want to make. It has mayo, Greek yogurt, chipotle sauce from the peppers, cilantro, celery, mayo , red onion, lime juice, garlic and smoke paprika
Are you familiar with "Akroshka"?😉 a very delicious cold summer soup- my (grand-) parents used to make it back in the days in russia; but even our generation in germany loves it😀😀
Hi Steph, We're making Zucchini bread and one pot Zucchini Mexican dinners. Along with making tomato caprese with balsamic on sourdough toast, creamy tomato corn salad, and pickles. OH and homemade 🍑 ice cream 🍦😊
Would love to know how you make your cottage cheese from scratch! I've realized there are many different methods and I'm always curious about how others do it
You have no idea how much I needed to see the flies in the background. I thought I was the only one!!! 😂 They're so bad. Ruining everything. I'm sure we need a parasite cleanse. I am in such a slump in the kitchen. I couldn't be bothered, which is not good, because I have a boy who likes to eat. Lol. I go through phases where I feel like I've forgotten everything I've ever known about cooking.
She shows her children often🙂 she just doesn't like them the focus/subject of her videos. But I'm sure they're right behind the camera, in another space, or outside where she can see them as often as she needs to... there is a lot of editing with videos like this! You can't see all the times she paused to take care of them, then started back up.🙂
@@kindnessmatters4068 I did not ask you. I asked her. Not asking her to show her kids just wondering how she entertains them and does all this work. Especially with an infant.
My son had a great cucumber supply this summer. We have loved thunder n' lightning and also a new cucumber recipe with fresh dill, white vinegar, cottage cheese, lil mayo and sliced sweet onion. Refrigerate. So refreshing ! 😊
Hopefully you're growing some rabbits and chickens and deer. If I had enough land I'd raise me a couple head of cattle. And you can come over and cook in my Kitchen anytime.
