Thanks for not over-producing; I'm interested in your operation, not a glitzy presentation of it. I'd really like to hear about your overall operation. How many cows are you milking, what breed(s) are they (and why), and who's buying your milk and why. Also, are you permitted to sell any of it raw and, if so, what kind of market is there for that. I'd also love to hear about what it's like to grow organic crops, corn especially. Thanks again!
The bales weighed around 1100-1200 pounds, We figure around 500# of dry matter per bale. I think we were feeding around 600# of corn, but it's been a couple years since the video came out and I'm not completely sure that's right.
