I loved this movie! I did this - left everything behind and moved far away with my kids and started a new life. It is something to be happy about that I had the strength to do it. And looking back - I'm so happy I lived a life! 🎉
I really really really loved the Asian character in there. Absolutely an amazing man. Thank you for being part of the story and helping Nadia, you are the one who’s bringing it all up ! Amazing actor.
Fun, light comedy. Woman wrote, starred, and co-produced it. Really entertaining effort. There are times in life when we reassess and explore options and this was a comedic look at it. Thank you.
They make LA look so fabulous and gorgeous but believe I live here and it’s nothing like it. It’s dirty homeless everywhere and filled with arrogant people who think they are the next George Cloony or Julia Robert’s
In an earlier time, women would have wanted to meet Cary Grant.......As his life story has unfolded, Cary absolutely and positively adored his daughter, so as a man you like men that are great parents. Cute to watch her crush on Clooney.
George Clooney was abs6 marvelous. Exactly like a sight go " see" ..... so to speak 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Poppy and Nustin wdfe xo breat together. An absolute veel bood harilaious Movie.....Thank you just fab !!-!!! ♥️♥️♥️🇬🇧🇺🇸🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great fun. A light-hearted movie, made to lighten your burden. I enjoyed it a real feel-good flick. Sad to see the movie critics below expected an A list movie for free.
It doesn't have to be A-list to be good. Lacy Chabert does great romance movies. This actor is not a good actor. And everything about the film screams "Low budget." ...
Her. Friend Justin is. Not only a great and supportive friend. The guy who played Justin is a very good actor he should get more movie parts in the future great actor
Yep supporting actors are really doing their job! Better than the female protagonist why on earth she got the lead is anyone’s guess. But bad script also doesn’t help the supporters. I’ve seen them in other movies and they shine. Good to watch to understand what does make a good movie. Makes you appreciate good movies as this is cringe material.
I made it to the 5 - minute mark and had already been subjected to a dozen movie cliches. Cringe, indeed, and insulting to the audience's intelligence.
FOR THE LOVE OF GEORGE is a 2018 Romantic Comedy ❤️ with several well known actors with small parts. But, like others have pointed out.... George Clooney is not actually in this movie.
I love that she’s delusional about an Actor. So much better than a real big mistake. Just keeping it unreal. Trauma brings out the fantasist in us all until the strange becomes the real, then familiar, until it becomes a choice. Love well everybody.
Spoiler alert: Imagine if she met George Clooney in the end :p What a wonderful final scene it would have been. They did not have to do us dirty like this lol. But I guess it must be extremely expensive to get George to make an appearance in the movie !
Emma M .... you've never heard of a look-alike? If she had just had a few words with him while they showed us the back of any man to depict the real Clooney, would have been way better. She might even have spotted her real future-hubby over Clooney's shoulder & what a great ending that would have been. Plus great advice to other love-lorn crazies imagining movie stars are more than what they are.
George only performs in decent movies. This movie is so bad it hurts. What's bizarre is there were a couple of decent recognizable actors in it. My guess is those actors needed to pay an IRS bill so that's why they were in it. This has to be the worst movie and acting ever. The girl that played the lead had really bad plastic surgery. 😮
This was worth it for the cameos. Some stuff was so preposterous. Lol. And the llama copyright. & The attempts at turkey noises. Hope in tv cotton candy form....
I thought it was just light hearted enjoyable, fun movie. Interesting enough in subject matter, likable enough, and yeah a couple performances could have been better (her friend with the southern accent, Irina) but still definitely enjoyed and wondered what was going to happen. Glad she said no to hubby, and decided not to settle, realizing that was what inspired her about George. I did think it was an interesting movie so not sure why people are being a bit hard on it.
Ah, the classic romantic comedy! It's like a warm blanket on a cold winter's night, or a fluffy puppy nuzzling your face. It's a genre that's been around since the dawn of cinema, and it never fails to make our hearts flutter. Picture this: a charming protagonist, usually a guy or a girl (but sometimes an anthropomorphic animal or even an alien!) who's just looking for love in all the wrong places. They stumble through life, trying to navigate the choppy waters of modern romance, until they meet their perfect match. And of course, there are obstacles along the way. Maybe the protagonist is already in a relationship, or their love interest is from a different social class. Maybe they're dealing with wacky misunderstandings or a series of comically disastrous dates. But no matter what, we know that true love will prevail in the end. There's always a zany best friend or a kooky family member to provide comic relief, and plenty of snappy dialogue to keep us entertained. And let's not forget the music! From catchy pop songs to sweeping orchestral scores, the music in a romantic comedy is designed to tug at our heartstrings and make us swoon. In the end, a romantic comedy is all about hope and optimism. It reminds us that even in the darkest of times, there's always a chance for love and happiness. And who doesn't need a little bit of that in their lives?
IKR! But definitely a feel-good movie... to the extent that every last one of us females can surely feel good about that fact that we can definitely act better than the lead actress (without even being in the industry). 😄
A charming and quirky comedy! nice to see a female rom com lead over 35. whoever was the sound engineer as far as music did a terrible job... several times the music is as loud as or louder than the audio. like did they even check it? worth watching anyway!
Suddenly, she met the man of her dreams in the elevator, but fate did not allow her to look at him, even though he was right in front of her. He's gone and she'll still regret the missed opportunity.👍🌹🤔😌
That was goofy but fun. The music was a little loud but I liked seeing some of the visuals. Who casted the husband? Idk he didn't really seem like a fit w her.
If you mean the very last song while the credits are running, that's called "Just Be" by Unsung Lilly... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--Q53J1nHB8k.html If you mean the song right before "Just Be" then @evabee0911 is correct...it's called "Happy Heart." It's also sung by Unsung Lilly in the movie but was originally recorded and released in 1969 by a British singer, Petula Clark, as well as by Andy Williams. Here's Petula's version... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EiT63okQccw.html
@@evabee0911 To further promote a great song... "When you're close to me, you will hear it. It's the sound that lovers, finally, will discover, When there is no other, for their love. It's my happy heart you hear, singing loud and singing clear And it's all because you're near me, my love. Take my happy heart away. Make me love you, make my day. In your arms, I want to stay, all my love" I'm old...I have loved "Happy Heart" since it was first released in 1969. Versions by both Petula Clark and Andy Williams are great and both were released in 1969. I could not find a version recorded by Unsung Lilly, the group that sang it in this movie.
It might sound unfair but I would consider this a 'vanity project!' Given that the written by, produced by and lead are all the same person. It had a few moments. The only reason I had it on was as background sound and at 1.5 speed. Still didn't miss much! 😉
The lead woman whoever she is, whatever she is - she's definitely not an actress. Dire film. Dire acting and silly story. Give it a swerve. And another thing, George Clooney was married to Amal in 2014 after having been together for years. This film was made in 2018.
