Yes Hadar, I am consuming more time to watch videos and listening to audio books. But I am not putting my knowledge into my actual speaking. I need an english speaking partner, who encourages and corrects my mistakes. If anyone is interested, please give reply. We'll learn and practice english together 😍
Thank you, Hadar! Yes, this is a cool topic, everyone who seriously learns languages encounters a plateau, gets stuck at the same level and loses the motivation to move on. But guys, don't stop, keep up the good work, because you are on the right way. The plateau will pass and you will collide with another plateau, and so on. It shows of your growth, you grow and become better and better. Do not give up and you are gonna achieve everything you want. Take a step and the road will appear. See you. Good luck.
You have plenty of good ideas to teach us. I really appreciate it. Your accent is clear to understand and your vocabulary is a little simple. Thank you. ❤
necesitaba tanto este video. Gracias!!!! Abriendo los ojos a esta realidad, al entender la ilusión del aprendizaje que ocurre al irnos por el camino más comodo, solamente consumiendo contenido pero sin el trabajo duro que es estudiar, memorizar, practicar, estoy seguro que lograré dar un giro a mi aprendizaje de inglés. Necesitaba escuchar esto, sospechaba que algo estaba haciendo mal.
Hi Haddar, your videos are super clear, as always. Its exactly how I'm feeling, I'm a content consumer, listening to all type of video I find out, but I'm struggling when I've to put in practise this contents, I'm not fluent at all. The bad thing is I'm getting bored. ..
Thank you for your time and insight. I am a native ESL teacher in Spain. I tell you this because I love watching your videos. I always get something out of them. Keep smiling 😊
I think my problem is that I don't really know what I have to Improve in my English skills, I'm just reading and practicing new things with an English grammar book, but I haven't used the things I've learned. Thanks to your video, now I know that I have to think if I'm really into the things I'm learning and what things are gonna be useful for me. Thank you for helping us, you're amazing.
I've always watched your videos and personally, I really enjoy all of them (by the way, I haven't watched "all " your videos 😁only some). They're all amazing and worth watching.. What makes your channel stand out among other channels is the fact that you're a non-native speaker of English, yet your English is stunning. I wish I could reach that level someday 😁 Thanks 🙏
Thank you Hadar for yet another great video with good content! Sadly though the English classes I had back when I was in school taught us lots of things we didn’t really need…even if we did need them we lacked the opportunities to practice them in class or weren’t taught where to find opportunities to use them outside of the classroom. But now I’m very grateful that opportunities to implement what I’ve learned are everywhere, such as writing in comment sections on RU-vid. You’ve always been a dedicated teacher who’s put in so much effort in helping us improve not just our English but also other aspects in life!
I really want to learn pronunciation for 100 common words in English that are often used, it will be very helpful for beginners if you make it in sections (part 1, 2, 3 and so on). Who knows there are still many of us who are just learning English and need lessons like this. Greetings from Indonesia 🇲🇨
Hadar, wow. I don't know where to begin. As a teacher, writer, and perpetual learner, I thank you for driving home that language learning is about so much more than discrete facts and that language teaching needs to be individualized, taking into account the "three questions" that you present in this video. Thank you, Hadar, from the bottom of my heart.
Hi Hadar !, I've watched many of your videos so far, but this one had me feel the need to grab my keeboard and tell you that THIS MESSAGE ROCKS !! what you have said is exactly what is needed to be aware of in order to make some improvement. It is applyable to any type of language learning, anything that requires drilling to be mastered (like learning to play an instrument for instance). I like the frankness of your statement, and you confirme what I wanted to here from a coach mouth. That video really validate the way I approache english learning. KEEP ROCKING.
Thanks, Hadar! This video makes me realize that my current way to study English is totally a content consumption.🤦♂️Reflecting on my long English journey, I certainly have spent much time rather just on listening than on Speaking. I gonna change the attitude to level up my English to next level! I'm looking forward to seeing othet videos. See ya.
Thank you, Hadar! My biggest problem is that I can't express myself freely, even with a large vocabulary and good pronunciation. I really need your help. Look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks.
You're simply incredible Harar! =)) As an english teacher from Brazil I fell so lucky for having this opportunity to learn from you here. Thank you so much and Congratulations forever!! ^_^
Thank you hadar! Its speak to me, i've been learning alot of english related content yet i still can't improve my grammar and speaking skill. Im still working on my grammar but speaking, not so much. I'm introverted person that live with my family so speak loudly is not an option for me, my only options are speaking in my heart and speak loudly when im home alone.
what can i say mrs hadar, I'm lost for words, you touched the most crucial topic that I'v been suffering in my journey of learning english, thank you so much.
I recharge by watching your videos whenever I'm feeling down! I'm finally able to understand what people are saying but I still don't know how to respond and the topic changes so fast so I can't keep up with their conversation. I always look up stuff that I want to talk about and try to use new vocabularies but my friend always laugh at me and tell me like "we don't say that" so I don't know what to do, she always says I sound like a textbook but I always learn new vocabularies from my favorite actress.
I don't know why I've been learning English for about totally 2 months harder and I don't feel stuck but I like to search how I learned English , hahaha love it
I think that a very effective and a very difficalty method in one time it is a translate sentenses from your mind or from any sources, for example books, from your native language to target language. It is that you do when you tray speak on target languaage. And also i consider that listening some video it is not bad excercising.
Hello from Brazil, Hadar! Thank you so so so much! This video was perfect for me. I loved it. I was feeling stuck with English and now I understand why. I usually spend most of the time consuming things in English in a passive way. But for now, it's to change the way that I am used to studying english. I never give up with english hahaha. thank you :)
That's really a great topic you discussed through this video...I'm also a non native speaker of English and trying to be fluent . I usually find plateaus and get . But by watching your videos I get inspiration for learning English Language.
I have to say that It Is really interesting the way you explain every part of this process of learning. In my case the speaking ability has been a nightmare. But, as you had said: we need to practice, need to spend More Time doing than watching simple videos. Videos or podcasts have been useful to me because I can understand It very well. Thank you very much for your videos.
Oww,I really appreciate your lessons because,You're an awesome 👌 teacher. I always wanted to be a pronunciation coach like you. And actually, Now,I'm still studying ,Your all videos were helped me to improve my own skills. All I hafta say is "Thanks a lot".
Thanks a lot teacher, and congratulations due to your 500K subscribers and I wish your channel grows so much early, youre one of the best youtubers teaching English.
I think learning a new language is a good way to imbue yourself with different notions of communication., Feeling, etc. Don't give up and power through this moment of hardship ✌️😊✌️
Really, I'm feel so happy to have dropped on your so amazing video, thank your Miss Hadar for your all efforts to give us the best topics to acheive our goals to better learn english and for make this great language a necessary part daily in our life.
I´m tired of searching for a course or a teacher that can improve my skills, but this video clarified me about my real necessities. It´s waste of time (and money) to repeat the same mistakes from the past. Thanks for your explanations, they can be help me with my journey to Fluency
@@yusufmohamed7539 It's not always like that. To speak fluently, clearly, and with confidence, you need to practice in a structured way. There are 7 skills to evolve to reach this goal. In the link below, Hadar explains what it is... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RwpXkwrjlzo.html
I think I'm still struggling with connected words that allow my speech to be more fluent... and some grammar rules that are still not so clear for me... 👍🏻
Theaching english language requir keeping more and more vocabulary as well as prictices every days . We must have hight trust with ourselves .. thank you so much..
The new thing I want to achieve is to pronounce final /z/ sound of words naturally. I do not have it in my native language and I find it very difficult. I am geeting closer to the right pronunciation, but it sounds very artificial when I speak.
Thank you so much, Hadar! Your video reminds me of some memories in the past. When I was a student, I have been abroad for short study programs several times. Every time it finished, my teacher in school were surprised how I improved my English skills (of course it’s step by step or little by little). I’ve wondered why it happened to me bc I always stayed there for a few weeks, but now I realized it was just because I tried using English in all the activities such as conversations and class learning during studying abroad in the short term. And I also found what I did was actually practices as you told us 😂 Thank you so much. I would be able to find a way to move myself forward 😊 P.S. I wish I could go abroad for practicing to learn English again 😔
Will I be able to teach someone one day? I hope teach someone as soon as possible. I will try my hardest to do it. How much time does it takes? It doesn’t matter how long it takes, as long as I learn it, I won’t go back.
Hey, Hadar! Thank you for the helpful and clarifying video! Well, I guess that my “20%” are topics like: gerunds and infinitives; past simple vs. present perfect simple; conditionals; and prepositions. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much. ❤️
Thanks Hadar for such a great video. I want to ask if I don't know pronouciation, vocabulary and tenses, as you said questions yourself what you need to learn in first week or first day etc,if a person don't know grammar well, pronouciation and vocabulary too then what should he learn first? I find myself stuck in daily conversation , where from I start ? Kindly reply.
Hello, Hadar 😊 I have a phonics-related question. And I will try to explain what I mean here :D When letters like ‘p’ or ‘t’ come in a word before a vowel, do I need to release the air as I do when I say those letters (letter sounds) separately? Here’s an example: 1. The word ‘pie’: do I pronounce it like P(h) + IE or P(no air is released) + IE 2. Same for the word ‘tie’ Hope I was clear enough for you to understand. Thank you in advance ;)
These are aspirated sounds - the P K and T when they appear before a vowel at the beginning of a word or at the beginning of a stressed syllable they are released with a short puff (sounds like a mini H) So, yes! You got that right:)
¿do u stuck in english? in my case I know the reason: I AM SO LAZY Idk why but i am so lazy, I can understand some words, acents, slang english (limited) but when I see the news like fox news or cnn just i stucked in that moment. They speak so quickly and i cant follow them. Yeah I sucks in english cuz i am the cause of that.
