hello friends, how have you all been lately? with all the emotional turmoil going around the world, i can understand the stress and anxiety that comes with it, so i encourage you to have an open chat with someone, educate yourself with what is happening, and take time off social media if it helps. if there is anything you guys would like to share in the comments - whether it's to spread some positivity or talk about your feelings, the community is here for you. i will also take note of them in my prayers.
being able to create content, cozy up with books and even have a roof over my head is such a huge privilege, and i truly acknowledge that. i will never take them for granted and am grateful for all that i have. this video is for those who look to slow content during days of hardship - i can understand how much the slowness helps in terms of relieving stress and anxiety. here's your reminder to also count your blessings, be more patient and kind to yourself and others.

I forgot for a moment that you’re in Australia and was briefly confused when you said you couldn’t believe it was already October and you couldn’t wait for spring 🤦‍♀️. It’s just starting to get cooler here in England, but even at the beginning of the month we were still getting temperatures of 20 degrees plus. It was only 16 degrees today and mercifully the nights are back into single figures again 🎉 😊 All of Daphne DuMaurier’s books are amazing. Give Jamaican Inn a try.

ahh I love kat karas' vlogs too~ also, while i'm reading i like to jot down notes/thoughts in my phone of any feelings i want to write about later, that way when you get to your reading journal, even if it's really late, you'll still remember the things you were feeling at the time of reading ^^ helps me usually!

I only have three pens right now and three notebooks. But since I've been watching your vlogs, I feel inspired to journal like you. I have tons of stickers and pens added to my shopping cart 😁Back when I was younger, I also read a lot of fiction books but now, I don't read anything at all (just work emails and documents :D which don't count). Oh Cath i've only found your videos in the past few weeks and I adore all the cozy and chill vibes. Definitely feeling the autumn vibes in Ireland so thank you for the wonderfully appropriate October spread. I love your reading journal- I get inspired to write reviews on the books I've read, but then I fall into reading slumps where I might read a book or two in a month. im late and have been so busy with uni!!! anyways here I am after all cath! first of all- the fall vibes in this video are just chef's kiss💋 sadly in my country we don't have that amazing autumn but I still appreciate it! 😌 the journal spread was SOOO cute and pleasing!!!!🤎 I love love LOVE everything about this one... you always amaze me with these little precious moments! and I am so happy that you enjoyed The Henna Artist, it is mostly a historical fiction and about women discrimination in early times. Many people even my own friends never finished the book because it was a little boring for them to read about their own culture. I have kept the book for my december tbr- I love the pink magic of Jaipur- my city have my heart. it makes me want to visit there often. it is lovely to see that you enjoyed reading about my culture💝 also did you miss me? and my looong letters!! hope you taking care of yourselves and your plants (the sun can be a bit cruel sometimes) and your cats too! have a lovely day and fall!! lots of love (from India), eva💝

I found this pratice of taking notes in books interesting. Usually I donate my books, but I started to write on post-its and paste them on the pages. It’s not the same, but it works well for me. Thanks for the inpiration. I love your videos ❤🖤

hi! they’re the regular white paper rolls from poooliprint (the printer brand)! they’ve got an app that allows you to print the photos you select and make a collage of so they’re all aligned ☺️

Rebecca is SUCH a good book. Watch the movie when you get the chance. It's very atmospheric and moody. It has Sir Laurence Olivier in it ( my favorite Heathcliff). Enjoy!
