u are a legend ...I'm in class 9 and we all students are very lucky for getting a chance to read about u in the lesson named"The sound of music".....I would say this is my fvrt lesson ever..our English teacher suggested us to watch your videos so we could understand the lesson better and I'm graceful to watch the videos of a powerful women playing more than 1000 instruments without hearing the sounds ....

I have read that chapter many times and each and every time I wonders how much passion you have for music and most importantly where from you got this huge inspiration. Dear Evelyn, I'm a Dutch classical percussionist and I follow you for years. So a great great Admirerer of YOU. I'm evenso so glad to see your presentations at the RU-vidChannel. I'm retiring now and looking bach of a lot of student who I also guided and teached on drums. When searching up about Evelyn, I saw she began to lose her hearing at 8 and lost it fully at 12. I've always been under the impression that people who are deaf usually lose a lot of their ability to speak due to it being more challenging and being incapable of hearing what you or others are saying/ sound like. Watching this was absolutely miraculous because I've never seen someone who is deaf communicate so clearly. Does anyone know how Evelyn was able to speak so fluently?

When you are of 8 years you will go in a function and when its your chance to play 🎹 piano you cant hear your name . I don't have much hearing from birth and am more visual than aural, however; I use touch as Evelyn does as vibrations says a lot to me. I am always surprised when normal hearing people ask me if I like music? I hear music all the time in my head usually and when I like something, it stays for days colouring my days and nights. I understand what she was saying and thank you for the CC! She is truly inspirational!
