It's interesting to watch you decorate such a modern looking, open floor plan house with primitive older items! Truly making it your own style. I also love that it doesn't look cluttered! 😊

Love, love the bench and how the pie safe came out!! Your piece of architecture salvage would be a great place to hang baskets and dried flowers and herbs. And i cant count how many times ive used your ideas to style my own house...thank you for shdring. Everything is looking so good! My favorite of everything is that gorgeous black bench! Watching you and Chris making it look complete made me so happy. Chris reminds me of my late husband…….The patience of Job and the wisdom of Solomon! I could watch craftsmen work all day long. Bill was a body mechanic repairing wrecked cars, but could also do almost anything around the house! Watching Chris repair and making things work does my heart good! You are a perfect pair! Oh my gosh! I simply love your taste. And.. I do love anything old. I was raised Pennsylvania Dutch. My family were milk farmers in Leighhigh valley Pa. German Lutheran. And my grandparents were very old fashioned. So when I see the things you have it really takes me back. I just love it!

Your decorations are just gorgeous. I love the crocks at the bench. My little tiny suggestion would be, maybe you could put a pillow on each side of the tree crocks on the top of the bench! I absolutely love watching you decorate & allowing us to come along with you as you & Chris come up with so many unique ideas from your salvaged finds to incorporate in the decor of your new home! This video & the one where you decorated your kitchen were my favorite videos that you have ever made & I've been watching you for about 18 months now! I like watching you make over things, but we don't get the opportunity to see how someone ends up actually using those items in their decor. Maybe that might be an idea for you in your future makeover videos, to possibly set up a display wall where you can do a mock up decor design with the items that you have made over for that week. Just an idea! But, in the meantime...keep those decorating videos coming, I can hardly wait for your next decorating video to come out! Thanks for bringing us along for the ride!

Looks sooooo good. As soon as I saw the window and bench I knew it would be a kitty perch! I thought that salvage piece was a wall shelf/plate rack and could make it like a plate rack or lean platters and the ledge would hold them? No what I mean? Anyway I love Chris's idea about the little mouse thing. Love the bench, the cabinets, ALL!!! Clapper light had a good time with the hammering on the bench!! Makes me laugh.

Everything is looking so beautiful Yvonne, it's going to look like a show farmhouse when you are done. I mean that in the best way, it should be on a cover of better home and garden. Or something like it and at the same time a very comfortable home. It's not everyone that can accomplish both, but you are doing it. I love the bench it looks great there and with the Crocks. And the cabinets are absolutely gorgeous with everything in them. I can't wait for the next episode. Lol.. Here last night it stormed an poured the rain all night, when I got up the first place I went was to the basement where all my craft stuff is and it flooded about 6inchs in there, luckily I had most everything up off the floor, but it still means everything smelling like mold and all my flowers and materials may even mold and just dampness on everything. It's so disheartening. But we did go and buy a building a 10 by20 it will be here next week and we'll have some work to do on it, put in some windows and all that, but hopefully I can get in it before it fluids again.
