Today was the first time I could listen/enjoy “Home” completely. I’ve always ended it early because my emotions got the best of me! My parents were born in TN and so many of the lyrics sent me deep into my feeling of loss. I’m still emotional, and still crying but I feel connected to them both today through your beautiful work. This song. It is MY favourite song of all time! It’s the song that no matter what mood I’m in, in that darkness it just kisses me like my mother did, hugs me and I miss her so much! This song. just lifts me! I go from bawling to feeling an inner peace in my whole being! Thank you so much!!! The other day while listening, I was like I wanna hear so many versions of this -love their voices and I thought you know who would also sound great singing this 1) Gwen & Blake should cover this and B) Miley Cyrus’s voice would kill this too even though this couple are by far my favourite voices!
