Thank you for tuning into another of my videos.
Today I’m discussing the FEG AP 7.65mm (.32acp) pistol. Going over some reasons I think it is better than a Walther PP and PPK, some down sides to the pistol and my thoughts on using it for carry.
I also provide an update on my Beretta 30X journey and where that stands as of now.

@@George_Lewis on a gun like this is not really too critical as the frame is already beaten as hell, but on a minty gun you definitely want to use that every time. Glad it helped. Thank you for watching and commenting.

I walked into my local gun shop to browse around because I was in the area and saw one of these and IMMEDIATELY asked to look at it. I thought it was a Walther PP at first, but the price was what really triggering my interest, and the guy explained to me what it was. I never heard of it before, so I did a quick look up on my phone, then bought it. I still haven't had the chance to fire it yet. So far my only complaints are it's literally the worst double action trigger I've ever felt, and good luck finding magazines for it. The only place I could find any were in the $80 range. Still, a fascinating piece of history. There are Glock guys, Sig guys, CZ guys, etc, I'm a surplus guy. Overall, I'm still very happy with it. It feels really good in the hands.

@@gavinlamp5426 agreed; the double action pull is horrendous. Single action is solid with a short reset. I really like the pistol. I might have a hack for mags and I’m gonna post on that in a week or two.

@@inlandindieP35 it’s very cleverly designed. Something that would be easy to incorporate in pretty much any hammer fired pistol design. I greatly appreciate your positive feedback as well as you watching and commenting. I unfortunately got very sick this week so I missed doing the video I had planned: but this coming week I will be doing a video on a rather rare firearm. My particular example is really one of a kind.

I have one of these pistols, however, I don't have any FEG magazines. I use Walther magazines and they are mediocre. The slide won't lock open after the last round. The mazazines often drop out during firing. With a full magazine the slide won't strip a round from the magazine and chamber it... the slide hits the round and stops from going forward into battery. It functions OK when I load only 5 rounds into the mag. Too bad... I like the pistol but it isn't reliable for anything more than plinking at the range. .

@@George_Lewis that’s very unfortunate. I really think the only major draw back to owning and using one of these pistols regularly is the very limited availability of magazines. I was wondering how close a walther mag is, I keep meaning to grab one of my mags and see how similar they are side by side. Might be a way to convert a magazine to work in it perfectly. @@josephpepper3087 the double action is very stiff: but it drops the hammer after a shorter travel than you’d expect. Single action is crisp with a short reset. Probably like 15lb DA and 4lb SA I’d figure
