This version makes me feel more melancholic for some reason. Maybe it's because it's already a depressing and lonely song, and the 8 bit feel of it just made it sound more " Down the memory lane" by reminding me of playing games back in those days.
True, if i were to listen to this song ten years from now (if i were able to live till then) i would imagine this being incredibly and painfully nostalgic. Heck it sort of already is even in 2020.
@@YamacKocovali7 I know this song for like 3 years and everytime i hear it i feel like i'm reviving a memory from my childhood I wonder how nostalgic it will be to listen 10 years from now
Imagine the new way of Fire Emblem, how everything is so incredibly different from the way it used to be, how we have culture now, that of the Japanese and European, shown in the music, the dress, the names, the weapons, the way of life, but in those older FE games. I've only played as far back as Blazing Sword of course because that's all that is accessible to me, but imagine it. Fire Emblem was so different back then... that's all I'm reminiscing on as I listen to this.
+Watermelon KC Agreed. The game is what you make of it. Sure I'll make fun of some of the changes but the game has become nothing but better. And if someone doesn't like Phoenix mode, try playing Lunatic. I've yet to finish my Luna file in Awakening.
Fates had a lot of potential for world-building and character relationships, but instead it focused on its cliched plot which doesn't bring anything new to the table. Imo even if the story doesn't feel new, at least it should've memorable characters, which Fates lacks.
Well the plot was fairly new to the Fire Emblem franchise. And some characters were memorable, I'd say. But that's a matter of opinion. It's especially funny with Fire Emblem as we reuse characters. e.g. Nino, Ewan, Ricken, and that kid whose name begins with an H, Hayata or whatever (not rememorable lol) are all essentially the same. Nino less so, but they're all the young mage who fights ahead of their years.
What about the plot is innovative, exactly? My problem with Fates is that it's just a giant circle jerk for Corrin the entire time, when Corrin is a complete idiot.
Helaman Sung You have a good point. It's just a radically different game from all the rest. I've only played Birthright of the three so I really don't know ALL of Corrin but I see your point.
No but really. This needs more views. It's a beautiful version of Hitori Omou. I wish this could be an Easter egg song in FEF (Fire Emblem Fates) It is really calming and I am in love with the Azura sprite! I also like how it gives it the feel of it being from an 8-bit theme you'd hear in the old FE games.
I could definitely listen to this for studying or even as a lullaby aspect. The sounds blend together so well, and it's so peaceful compared to the vocal track. Not that there's anything wrong with the vocal track of it, but this just works so well!
Playing and grinding isn't really uncommon among casual players but it usually is frowned upon in competitive runs since it makes the game easy and makes unit tier lists pointless because you basically will have no issue with stats and exp.
Engage’s design and overall music kinda let me down. i really do enjoy the 4 hounds soundtrack but oh my lord the story is kinda stereotypical and reused. Plus only got attatched to marni A NPC BOSS. I thought radiant dawn, three houses, awakening, and fates where a slight improvement but engage really set in stone the series is focusing more on the anime weeaboo aspects.
