Yuet N. Rappard Difference of curse being those diseases aren't transmitted to this animal. Leprosy can be transmitted between us and armadillos. And surprise, it doesn't harm them.

my guinea pig died a few months ago and Arnie reminds me so much of her. I could remember sitting under a oak tree trying to keep her breathing. Thank you for the wonderful memories that came flooding back. you will be missed Lucy.

OmG..... The cutest little thing ever! When he tried to take a bath in a too small bowl of water was hilarious. He is like a cute sweet little puppy. So full of joy and life. I live in Texas and I have only seen a live armadillo in the wild a handful of times but I have seen so many dead ones on the road I can't even count so it's nice to see somebody caring for an armadillo they're really amazing creatures

What an adorable little guy! I've saved hundreds of animals too, and brought back a boa constrictor to life, which was a 6 month feat. He was not shedding, so very critical. This was a school pet (eye roll!) The key was to give him Pedialyte via a stomach tube. After 6 months of no shedding, he shed overnight and was cured! So many more stories like that. Thank you for your excellent 24/7 care of animals, it is very hard work, but much appreciated.

I love armadillos. Sometimes I think I'm the only one who loves them, but of course I love all animals. They are amazingly strong animals, and to me, they are absolutely amazing. Where I live, however, people see to shoot them, run over them, etc. just for sport. Breaks my heart when I see one dead in or beside the road, because I just know it was not an accident that it was killed. Please, God, protect the animals from cruel humans, and thank you so much for people like this kind lady.

Arnie's behavior reminds me of my ferrets. It's like having a two year old in the house but so much fun! Except that they also steal and hide everything that isn't nailed down and then get mad when you stop them or retrieve your stuff from their hidey hole. What a hoot. Arnie looks like there's never a dull moment.
