I love these Base Camp episodes. It's so fun learning what goes on behind the scenes and learning more about the animals featured in the original videos. I'd love to see one on the bee beard episode to find out what was going through poor Coyote's head during and after the bees swarmed him.

According to wikipedia the earliest selfie stick dates back to as far as 1925. And according to google terms the term "selfie stick" was at its peak in december 2014, two months before the bucky video. Sorry Coyote, you didn't come up with the selfie stick. One of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced was getting to see two Black Bear cubs in north Idaho years ago, they were what we guessed to be about 3 months old, just camped out under an Apple tree. We saw them as we were driving past and sat there for a good 10-15 minutes watching them. We thought maybe mama had been killed since black bear was in season which just broke my heart. They were absolutely beautiful and precious and probably why bears are my favorite animal now.

PatriotsFan4Ever true. 1.it wouldnt have any value to this channel. And 2. Why should we make him drink something where he can react pretty heavy on it bc , even though some tea types (green/black tea) are higher in caffeine, coffee is just something else. For example, I can't drink coffee . When I drank an iced coffee once, my heart rate got up, I got anxious, nervous and started sweating balls. My body couldn't compensate that amount of caffeine it had. I actually thought I would suffer from a cardiac arrest bc my heart was pounding so fast. After around 10 minutes and some fresh air my body calmed itself and until now I will never ever drink coffee or caffeinated drinks ever.

I live in Canada and live in a pretty populated area and every summer we get black bears wandering the streets, sometimes even just in peoples drive ways. Its cool but also makes me a little nervous especially as a pet owner but usually they just saunter through and its usually just one who comes back.

In the Smokies, which are known for their black bear population, you're mandated by law to admire from a safe distance of fifty feet or more. Most admire from a "bear jam," which is when someone spots a bear from the road and then everybody stops/slows down the car to photograph said bear. I've been lucky enough to glimpse them occasionally with my family. Thanks for the video, gentlemen. Please keep them coming.
