Dog owner (friend of my grandma) comes along, I ask if the dog is friendly and can be pet, she says yes so I approach as calmly as I can and just give the dog my hand to sniff and this thing straight up bites me. Imagine that dog, with the "partial attack training" bites and latches on. Poor dog would have a death sentence. And the owner would act like it was the person's fault that the dog bit them.

Also, it should be FORBIDDEN to offer attack training for dogs owned by untrained people, it should be mandatory to have some sort of certification to be allowed an attack dog.

@@casastuart210 there's a big difference between instinctively attacking intruders and trading a dog to attack. The dog trained to attack thinks its a game and if not trained right may start attacking anyone unprovoked Training an attack dog(one trained to attack) is a full time job and really should only be legally allowed with people who prove they know what they're doing

You are very correct but unfortunately the entire "industry" of dog ownership and dog care and everything in between is virtually unregulated and every piece of advice is a suggestion you can happily ignore even to the detriment of the animals and everyone around you and it's not illegal as long as you aren't provably abusing an animal. It's nuts.

Well the dogs have behavior issues but they're caused by their humans almost every time There was one episode with a dog that suffered panic attacks. The panic attacks weren't caused by the humans but the humans failed to understand the dog was having panic attacks so instead of trying to help the dog they tried to correct him and exasperated his panic attacks instead

So despite her not wanting another dog he gets one, partially attack-trains it and seems perfectly happy that she's so miserable. He WANTS her to leave him, getting that dog was his spineless way of making her life SO miserable that she would leave him. Narcissistic, misogynistic and deeply deeply selfish husband. Poor woman.

I'm totally with you on the narcissistic, misogynistic and deeply, deeply selfish husband part, but I think you're giving him way too much credit in saying he wants her to leave him and getting the dog was his spineless way of making it happen. I can't believe he's ever thought that far ahead, or with that level of complexity-- or deferred gratification-- in his life. I also doubt he's ever given that much thought--or any thought at all, for that matter-- to what another person's reaction/response to his behavior might be. I think he works on a much more primitive level...as in, "Ungh...me want. Ungh...me get!" Then a bunch more "me, me, me's," then maybe a flash of red for "danger" (representing the pinnacle of his sensitivity to his wife's reaction), another grunt, "Me want!" and home we go, with another dog, happy and pleased with himself and his new canine friend.

Hahhahaha I was thinking the same thing haha that big dog is what a chihuahua sees in the mirror hahaha I love these videos I have 2 chihuahuas an I want to invite Victoria to meet them cos they arnt yappy they dont bark all the time they are really sensitive and gentle wee dogs the only thing is they don't like it when they arnt with there mummy (me lol) but will tolerate being looked after by there granny (my mum lol) for the night and they have fallen in love with the guy who lives above me they won't let him pass them when he gets home from work he has to come into my garden and give both pups a hug and kisses then play ball with them hahahaha honestly it's like a human child custody arrangement l 😂😂😂 haha

Exactly the most important part of attack training is releasing on command and not attacking unless there is an actual threat. I saw a video made by a protection dog trainer. He said that a true protection dog won't attack unless told to or if they or their handler is attacked. He also said they will release on command. The video as basically going over actual protection dog vs dangerous aggressive dog

We didn't see the worst of it, as bad as he was he was still on camera trying to entertain the audience and look like the fun loving, easy going good guy with a sense of humor. You can bet behind closed doors when there is no one left for him to entertain, he's likely 10x worse.

This guy is a total covert psychological abuser, any time Josie gets upset (well within her rights whether he agrees with her or not) he speaks to her like she’s being OTT and irrational when it seems to me just from a 40 min video that she has probably put up with a lot of ridiculousness with this man and is just mentally exhausted. The fact he also says he wants to get Sasha to have a litter and keep one when he doesn’t even know how to/care to train her nevermind care for her pups and train one of them too.. get this man in the bin Josie. Victoria, after binge watching dozens of your videos it is clear to me that the humans in most, if not all, of them need couples counseling. Their issues are creating an environment that is unhealthy for their fur babies. I really love watching you tackle the hard job of retraining the humans first so that the dogs can live up to their potential. You should get certified as a couples counselor. You definitely have what it takes to do the job❣️

I always get very upset when I see "out of control" dogs; particularly, Chihuahuas. I've had three dogs in my life, a GSD, a Fox Terrier and her love child and now a Chihuahua. They all the up lovely, lively, and calm. There is quite a bit of mischief, but no pulling, no unnecessary barking. The Chi is gentle, very good with children; she's the darling of the neighbourhood, I feel so sorry for dogs who learn to be aggressive and uncontrollable instead.

Unfortunately, many people do not discipline/train their chihuahuas properly. I'm wheelchair bound and have had more problems (attempted bites, peeing on me or the chair, aggressive behavior, etc.) with chihuahuas than all the big breeds combined. Some dogs just get narky about the chair, which I understand, but owners need to control their dogs. I love well trained dogs, but ill disciplined ones are a menace.

The act of trauma bonding doesn't start with being yourself, it starts with being a character that you think your target wants. She likely fell in love with a charming, sweet and funny version of him and didn't really see the real him until it was too late. You could see how he tried to charm Victoria and the camera. Victoria and Josie continuously saw through his attempts which is why it was so clear what he was doing. That said, a lot of people in the comments were still tricked into thinking he was a sweet and charming man and Josie was the the controlling one. Trauma bonding is a terrible trick!

What kind of drugs is he on for the scratch marks to "feel like driftwood, it gives you memories" and for his wife's bitten leg to be "no problem she got into the line of fire"? he's lucky Josie didn't have an actual chunk taken out of her leg but then again he'd probably say "it's just a scratch no big deal" and the crap about the master and dog being one?

The problem was somethin he caused the dog to have. He's got probs He's projected onto the dog. Theor marriage has deeper Issues that he's replacing with the dog & focused on that Instead.

When he said yes, he should have talked to her about it before wrecking their agreement to start taking time together for themselves as a couple, but things change and it is what it is, she should have said, "Oh, I'm so glad you feel that way, because I took a lover a while back, and while I probably should have discussed it with you first to see how you felt about it, it's done now, and" it is what it is"-- and then given him his own line, as well, if he objected, about the need for him to eliminate his "negative energy" about it.

I read through quite a few comments and while I agreed with their assessment of Tony's behavior, I wondered why none pointed out that the title concerns Lerna the chihuahua but the episode was 98% Sasha. I was impressed at the change in Tony's attitude. He enjoyed dancing the tango with Josie. I felt relieved that once Sasha became more controllable, Lena seemed more relaxed. I wish she had been much more involved in the episode than she was. Victoria has always been a godsend when it comes to couples who are not on the same page.

@@jimbob465search and rescue training is something you can do just for fun by hiding from your dog then having someone release them or hiding something from them then releasing them. This dog is to pent up it needs to expend it’s energy so it doesn’t chew and bite.

A German Shepherd will be enough of a deterrent to someone wanting to harm a person or their property without needing to protection train the dog - the evildoer will move on to an easier target 🐕

I once worked, as a trainer, with a family with a Rottweiler that they wanted to "be mean". I assured them that they would not have to protection-train him. He'd be more than happy to protect them if he sensed danger.

Honestly, the biggest issue with the couple and the dogs is that the guy (Tony) is DELIBERATELY not giving his wife a chance to form a proper relationship with Sasha. He just wants to focus on having "HIS dog" not "OUR dog." How can the wife learn to love and train the dog to follow her commands if the husband refuses to foster a good relationship? I am the main trainer of our dogs, but I always make sure my spouse learns how to control the dogs and to have FUN with the dogs (aka give treats, play, cuddling, etc). I even let them give the appropriate table scraps everyday, rather than have myself do it. It is a special moment everyday that the dogs have with my spouse that has nothing to do with me and they must behave in order to get the treat.

I am SO glad these two don't have kids. Controlling and dismissive father, mother that gives up after a minute of loud noises, dangerous dogs and strange ideas. They're a much bigger danger to themselves than any stranger.

As soon as i heard protection training- like oh god. This is so dangerous especially with dogs who aren't well trained to follow orders beforehand. If you're not gonna commit to it you're gonna have problems, especially with working dog breeds

this guy....you think he has learned something by the end of the video, then he "kids around" again about having another dog.... that's creepy when he knows how upset she gets. I can't put my finger on it but it feels creepy that he gets her all riled up again and calls it 'kidding'.
