the new budget kits are underrated! For those who wants to know more budget builds do look out for Feker IK75, Next time 75 and the mw65... those atm are the best bang for buck kits atm
@@tamqko3116 it depends if u really want the wireless feature, for me it doesn't really matter so I would suggest the NT75, plus u get so much more budget for switches, keycaps and mods
@@itssamueltan thank you! ill definitely get the nt75 now, but does it come with a pom/pc plate like the feker? if not, where do you think I can get one for the nt75?
I've been searching for a video that would properly explain how to screw in these gyatdamn screws since im new to the keyboard community. Thank you for this video, this helped me a lot :))
Hey! loved the build. I followed the links you provided but it wasn't a POM replacement plate being offered, but PC. Couldn't find any other sellers offering the POM plate as well, think you could drop a link for where you got yours?
@@itssamueltan Can you please help me to choose my next keyboard Samuel Tan ? I don't know if I buy the Feker IK75 or Akko ACR75 V2 ( south facing board) Basically for me the stronger points, the Feker have wireless and 8000mah batery and the Akko have better gaskets, materials and mounting, and I like the brand... I don't care about the knob... The bought are the same value for me,
Ok I’m currently installing the Pom plate and trying to screw everything back together but for some reason the screws that attach it to the pcb won’t fully go in, am I not supposed to fully screw them in or am I doing something wrong? I’d really appreciate some help cause I can’t find anything on the issue.
@@itssamueltan Hello thanks for the reply. I was able to get the stand offs on but I was referring to around 6:39 where your adding those screws back. They won't go all the way in, I actually had to loosen some of the stand offs so those screws would somewhat fit. Sorry if this sounds confusing im new to this.
Great review yet again. I wanna ask though, are these Feker Crystal Linear switches compatible with Outemu Hotswap sockets? I saw a picture on reddit with these switches used on a Redragon K552 (having outemu sockets), and I'm wondering if these will really fit on mine.
im thinking about getting this switches, how confortable is to type on them? ym going to use it both for work and for gaming, curently rocking outemu purples, also will they fit outemu hot-swap sockets?
I would say yes they can fit the outemu sockets but they will be very tight. And I would say they are good for gaming and typically, just a lil heavy for me
Hey man these builds are all for my channel and ofcos me 🤣 I do sell some off after some time because there's too many keyboards. (I also do commission builds too )
Which keyboard kit do u think is better or better suited for my use case (kinda overwhelmed by the choices of 75% keyboards these days) Keychron V1, NT75, Feker IK75v3, or James Donkey A3 (or any other keyboard kits would u recommend) North or south facing led isn’t a big thing cuz i can use oem keycaps on north facing but south facing would be a nice option since im already used to cherry keycaps. Wireless isnt a miss but can be a plus. Anyways thank you for your time and have a great day. Thanks
The keyboard looks and sounds but here's a suggestion for video (maybe) build a premium keyboard in a future like tofu or gentleman 65 or Maybe the d65 not saying the contents is bad but maybe something premium
I just picked up this kit along with the Feker Holy Pandas V2 and can't wait till it arrives. Would you recommend getting cherry profile keycaps to avoid interference (if there is any)? I can't decide between that or ASA. Also you mentioned in another post that all Feker switches have longer poles? Anyway, this was a very informative video! Thank you!
Hey, I would suggest if getting cherry profile you can get dye Sub PBT because it's not that thick, but thicker PBT/ABS will have interference. Or ASA from Akko is nice too
Are there any cherry interference using that cherry keycap and that keyboard ? Im new to this community and just ordered my kit and freaking out when I learned about cherry interference 😭
Appreciate you covering both this board and the Next Time 75! Been having trouble getting information about the differences of these boards, but I think your overviews sum it up!
Awesome video, man! I'm very interested in this keeb but as a noob, I'm unsure whether Gateron Yellow Pro will work on this. Also which keycaps should I buy to avoid interference?
Torn between this or the rk84. Trying to mod my first keyboard and can't really decide to go for a barebone or the prebuilt. Any advice why should I choose a barebone over the rk84 or any prebuilt keyboards ? Thank you so much ☺️ really nice video btw 😃
is it possible to remap the 4 keys under the knob? I'm currently using a full 104 and wanted to switch to 75%. The keys I need are Del, Home, End, and Prnt Srcn.
Thank you for asking this question two years ago! I am needing the exact same functionality and this determined what I bought. Glad to know! I’m actually “downgrading” from an ASUS Azoth because I’ve haaaaated the asus software, and the OLED screen is so wasteful and pointless. So I’m swapping my switches and keys over to this feker soon and I’ll sell the azoth to cover it.
Hey! How are the stabilizers on this board stock? Also would this ik75 have any interference if used with boba u4t long stem with cherry keycaps? Thanks
Hello, the stock stabs are quite okay but I recommend u mod them, as for the Boba u4t if u have long stem should be fine but just be careful because some double shot keycaps are very thick and will have interference
great video, I've seen ads on bangood and aliexpress as "FEKER IK75", is the "v3" a new and different version or just a marketing stunt? Also, any thoughts on battery lifetime?
It's the same keyboard honestly just a different code name, and for the battery life I would say it can last up to 40+ days with regular daily use with no rgb
@@itssamueltan my bluetooth either connects fine or not at all. It's a bit confusing for me but in the end any input doesn't work. My 2.4g connects also but when I press a key it does it fine the first second, then a second later acts like I held down the key. After a couple of seconds any input I put in doesn't work at all. At times my 2.4g puts a couple inputs from last time I turned it on. My wired works fine and acts like nothing is wrong, software is also fine. It's been like this for a couple days when I first got it.
@@brucenadonza3655 it’s only green for a few minutes after plugging it in. If it’s charged then it goes back to whatever color you have it programmed to. (I own two so speaking from personal experience)
