Dear Falke thanks for sharing your experience and astuce for solar. I would like to go with solar backup and use the IVPM10048 low frequency of felicity. So far how was your experience with felicity LF inverter ? How reliable are they ?for info I would like to go LF INVERTER to ensure durability running AC, fridge, washing machine. I think their HF version is better......have pushed their IVCM(5kva/48v) hybrid to its maximum capacity, and it handled it well. The challenge is for battery to keep up. They are equally strong, light and have better charging effectiveness. It has been powering my flat 24/7 for the past 2yrs.
For me both the LF and HF are equally good, I prefer one over the other base on two factors. 1. The use case i.e the load type 2. The Installation environment. When using inductive loads, Power tools and well pumps I choose LF because they handle torque better than HF inverter. The HF inverter uses electronic components, these don't like high temperature, in some parts of Northern Nigeria it sometimes get really hot, i tend to go towards a modular systems than hybrid.
@@diyfalke I have used both LF and HF. Used LF for a year before switching to HF because of the integrated Solar CC. I can tell you, the experience in terms of handling load is similar. I pump(1.5hp submersible), microwave, wash(washing machine), iron(1.7kw steam iron), cook with the inverter. It powers my whole flat. My electric bill has shrunk greatly. And I can count the limited number of times have bought gas in a year. Trust me those HF inverters ain't weaklings in handling all kind of load as far it's not beyond its 2x surge rating. And the cherry on top is the better idle load consumption. When I was using the LF, my batteries run down faster, because of that I don't use it to power heavy loads, lest I run out of battery energy, I was conservative with loads. But not with the HF, You can run it all night and when you wake up, you still have sufficient energy to cook and iron with it before solar takes over. Concerning the heat, I can't say much since am not an expert in electronics, but one thing I know, you cant be powering heavy duty loads continously 24/7 with any kind of inverter. Inverters get hotter depending on the ambient temperature as they power big loads. They always have a sticker attached to the sides that show the acceptable working temperature range and I think it's ok for our tropical climate
@@akinwaleakintoye8304 As I said, they are equally good, and as you said High Frequency Inverter has very low idle power consumption, my IVPL4850 LF inverter uses almost 100w without any load. It all comes down to personal preference and ones reason for making these choices.

Does this IVPS Felicity Fan kicks in @ 50% load or below 50% load. Also, beside Felicity, which durable inverter would you recommend that's not too expensive?

You can Google Felicity Solar office at 40 RUE 2360, Douala, Cameroon. I think price may be lower than with other vendors, as for me in Nigeria, the last time I bought the 24v 2.5kVA(IVPS2425) was ₦245,000, 3.5kVA 48v (IVPS4835) was ₦285,000, 48V 7.5KVA (IVPS4875) Was ₦485,000.
Someone I know in mainland had the same issue, he returned to the point of purchase, they fixed it within short time. What is the model of your inverter sir?
So is the heat gun producing the humming noise to the inverter as a result of the lack of kicking of the cooling fan, because I noticed that once the fan kicks in the noise stops.
Which means it can charge my battery bank via government power whenever there is light? If so, am glad I got the inverter charger then. Current, for the past 2 years, we have not seen government light in my area and I just installed a solar system last November with 220 amp battery. I also enjoy your video a lot and have learn so much. I’ve learnt a lot from all your videos
