Actually, you're talking about Libulan, one of Bulan's brothers who married another deity of the same gender. Bakunawa wanted to swallow Haliya but Bulan prevented that so he was swallowed by Bakunawa. Bulan was saved by Haliya but lost his "God" status and became an ordinary boy. He in turn with the help of the villagers saved Haliya from Bakunawa later on.
