For me, I bridged out of a very tight cradle and reversed the hold on him; for Mr. Felix, it made all the weight and fatigue go away for about ten seconds.

Watch his hands, the man absolutely gave it his all and it shows. His grip failed but only after successfully beating his own record, the world record. One thing I do wonder with these events is does the announcer and crowd distract or does it provide a tempo that helps inspire you to keep pushing.
