I don't know when this aired, but it aged poorly. The only reason Ukraine still exists as an independent country as I type this is because of the excesses of Western military Industry.
@Renato Pereira Pinheiro I"m under no delusions about the long term independence of Ukraine. But neither can anyone be under any delusions about how much this is costing Russia. The idea that the US military is nothing more than a Paper Tiger, an excuse to spend money, an exaggeration, lacks nuance. That is part of what it is, but to think that is simply all that it is, is naive and reductionist. But then, that should be expected from the sort of New Yorker that typically calls themselves a "socialist"
